    Hello all,

My husband and I are thinking of booking this cruise. We live in Vancouver and this would be my fifth cruise to Alaska.

As for what to do around Vancouver; Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Granville Island, Gastown and possibly Grouse Mountain depending on how much time you have. There is a free shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge from downtown Vancouver.

    Options for port excursions:

Skagway - White Pass and Yukon Route train

Icy Strait Point - Whale watching

Ketchikan - Self walking tour through Creek Street / Saxman Native Village

Juneau - Mendenhall Glacier / Dog sledding / Mount Roberts tramway / Whale watching

Sitka - Sitka National Historical Park / Fortress of the Bear

    I hope that helps.

    Hello all,

we have just booked this cruise and are very excited to be going to Alaska.  Cool Cruiser, my husband and I are born and lived in London until our late 30s but now we are based in NYC.  Looking forward to connecting with everyone on the cruise.  We are also interested in any tour suggestions.

We have just booked this cruise with a few nights stay before in Vancouver, we have sailed with Cunard before but it's our first time to either Canada or Alaska, we will be starting soon to look at excursions on the cruise but anybody from Vancouver that can give us some ideas of must see's while in the city would be great.
