We did this too. We originally booked on the Crown last March, & this week cancelled & booked another cabin with our TA Best Price Cruises. We also lost our OBC but got a significantly better price. Saved thousands lol.

We booked this cruise a year go while on the Regal. Looked today and if we cancel & re-book our price will go down $2916.00 We loose $1250 in ship board credits, but are still way ahead. If any of you booked a while back you may want to look at the newest rates. In our case, we are with Costco ad they are less than Princess shows.
