I doubt it, as there aren't that many sea days. We've just got back from a Rome->Dubai cruise on Celebrity. We had 6 sea days between Aqaba and Abu Dhabi and there was a progressive music quiz - a decade a day from the 50's to the 2000's. We won every round as well as the overall quiz. We each won a towel plus some odds and sods. We usually give the prizes we win to kids on the ship.

Hi Anita / Steve - I'll be wearing a black T shirt with "NEVER GIVE UP' in large white letters on the front. Aussies tend not to use CC much, FB is more popular. There's a page for the Ovation, but don't think there's 1 for this specific cruise.

Check out the following email from Dunedin Railways:-

"There is no scheduled morning departure on the Taieri Gorge Railway on (the day we are in Port Chalmers (Dunedin)) as our trains are both in use for cruise charters (the Norwegian Jewel is also in port on this day).  We do have a departure on our Seasider service at 11:10am, this is easily achievable time wise and also drops off at Port Chalmers on it’s return leg if you so wish. We have booked on this. Here's the website:- https://www.dunedinrailways.co.nz/

Most of the ship tours from Picton  involve the Marlborough Wine district (for any non antipodeans who may not know, Marlborough is the most famous wine district in NZ).

I’ve only just started looking on T.A., but this looks to be a pretty good option at $78 a pop. It’s a HOHO bus that stops at 6 wineries plus other tourist type locations. Hourly departures:-

    https://www.shoretripsandtours.com/V1.0/ShowBrochure.php?webpage_content_id=1192

A 4.5 hour ship tour to 3 wineries would be $140

A 4.5 hour ship tour to 1 winery and a chocolate factory would be $104

All the ship options are here:-

    https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/cruiseplanner/category/1002?day_shore_ex_location=5

but I reckon the HOHO bus is the go. Anyone interested in joining us?

We were wondering if they will have progressive trivia. We were on the transpacific in October and they did. Not great questions or prizes but there were 76 teams playing. Every sea day there was a round. Finally at the end the team Steve was in cam joint first. The other team played upstairs in 270 and had loads more then the 6 on the team. The prize was one bottle of sparkling wine, a few key rings and pens. I know it's not the prizes but they should have been a bit better then the usual morning or afternoon trivia.
