It's tomorrow already!  The motorhome is safely parked in Bothell and we are almost packed.

We're just doing Hump Island Oysters out of Ketchikan for shore excursions.

    See you on board!

First time cruiser here! I have soo many questions! But first...is anyone interested in doing a fishing charter in Sitka? I contacted Angling Unlimited about a charter and they said it's $1500 for 4 people - so $375 pp. We've only got 2 in our party. Here are the details I have so far - more info to come if anyone is interested.

We do have an opening on May 23rd. The cost is $1,500 for the month of May (typically we are fishing 4 people/boat so this cost is then a bit cheaper/person. If you have 2 other people that want to fish then you can definitely invite them along!) for the boat for the day, this includes everything except gratuity - captain and deckhand, rods/reels/bait/etc, raingear (jacket, bibs, boots), fishing license, a lunch cooler full of all the fixings for cold sandwiches, chips, more than enough snacks to get you through the day, non-alcoholic beverages are also include (water and pop), fish process and packing is also included. Most of the time when people fish with us off cruise ships they have to ship the fish they caught via fedex (due to no freezer space on ship) That would be something to look into if you do choose to fish with us! Either see if the ship can hold it or have someone back home that can get it into a freezer for you. We would pick you up from the cruise dock upon your arrival to Sitka and bring you to our lodge.

You're quite welcome.  Glad that you found it useful!

As to the typos, that was a final version...you should have seen the original! :classic_biggrin: I alternate between 7of those n one week and 8 the next and you'd better believe that I use a template for each one. There are 8 different ships so each one differs a little bit to keep the project manageable. If you ever find anything that you think might be useful to Alaska cruisers let me know by dropping me an email at my address of pierlesscruisers at gmail dot com

    See you at the pier!

UH OH--more bad news for Alaska cruisers.

Two float planes crashed into each other in Ketchikan today.  Six missing and 10 injured.

All were passengers on the Royal Princess. Ship is not leaving port.
