The cruise will probably be canceled.  Since Canada has closed its ports to cruise ships until July 1, they won't be able to make a foreign port stop in Canada.  My guess is that the Alaska cruises will become 8 day cruises from LA with a stop in Ensenada Mexico or 15 day round trips, so that they comply with the "Passenger Vessel Services Act (PVSA), 46 U.S.C. 55103 (19 CFR 4.80a)"  and the "Jones Act" unless they can get a waiver, which is unlikely.   I looked at a similar cruise on Golden Princess leaving LAX on Sat, May 16, 2020, if you substitute Ensenada for Victoria it could be done in 14 days, but would probably be extended to 15 to allow for the additional 9 hours of sailing north to get from Ensenada to Ketchikan.

I am not feeling very confident that we'll be cruising! We received an update on our Australian government Smart Traveller website advising: "Australians, particularly those with underlying health concerns should reconsider taking an overseas cruise at this time due to COVID-19." The statement that makes me uneasy is: "Repatriation from cruise ships affected by COVID-19 should not be relied upon as an option". So I read this as meaning, if we go on a cruise and need repatriating we are on our own! We will keep monitoring the situation and make a decision closer.

Have any fellow cruisers who have B2B or other cruises booked just prior to this one had any cancellations/communication from cruise lines?

This for us is the third of four consecutive cruises... April 10-May 3, Miami to Copenhagen on MSC Meraviglia... (two nights each in Copenhagen, Paris, and Tokyo...)  then May 11-May 21 Honolulu to Vancouver on Celebrity Solstice, (2 nights in Vancouver...) then this one, (two nights in Anchorage...) then June 1-8 on Norwegian Jewel, Anchorage back to Vancouver.  (then Amtrak back to Seattle, two nights there and then fly Southwest back to Dallas).  Originally we were supposed to be on Celebrity Millennium from Tokyo/Yokohama to Vancouver, but that one got cancelled... we had to add a flight to Honolulu and substitute the Solstice sailing.  Hopefully we won't have any other changes needed!
