Guesstimate as of a couple of days ago was 290. I’m currently onboard and debarking Saturday as scheduled.

Now about 160 not including enrichment personnel. Restaurants will open 6:30pm instead of 6pm. Silk and Churrascaria will alternate nights open. Parties at 6pm instead of 7:45pm.

I don’t think you will have a problem getting into Umi Uma or Prego.

We have not heard anything new from Crystal, BUT the port web site that my husband looked at said that the next stop for the Symphony was Port Klang Malaysia. And people who are on shorter segments of our cruise (embarking or disembarking in Saigon) are reporting that Crystal has cancelled their cruises. So that leads me to think that we will not be going to Vietnam...

We still have had no official word from Crystal about itinerary changes, but on their website they now have us going to Phu May after 3 sea days, then moving to Danang for the second Vietnam night, and after that Saigon and the other previously scheduled ports, except for Hanoi/Halong Bay, which is apparently cancelled! And that was the port I was most looking forward to!  Oh well...things could still change (and probably will)!

For those who will be onboard, I am confident that Crystal will continue making wise and prudent decisions to protect everyone's health.

I was booked on this segment and have decided to return home rather than continue my back-to-back voyage after Feb 15.  Crystal offered a full 100% future cruise credit for those who cancel, versus a 50% FCC  for those who choose to remain onboard, possibly staying at sea the whole time.  For me, there were compelling rationales both for retaining and for cancelling this segment at the last minute.

My primary rationale for cancelling is that I will be back on the Symphony, next winter, on several back-to-back voyages including one visiting similar ports in the opposite direction (i.e. Singapore to Hong Kong, on Jan 27, 2021).

Currently, there is no way to predict how long the coronavirus epidemic might last.  The less-virulent SARS virus epidemic during 2002/2003 lasted about 8 to 10 months.  Unfortunately, the coronavirus hasn't reached its peak yet and might still pose a threat in early 2021.

Sorry to be missing this cruise, but just curious about the ports of call. Have Crystal confirmed to those passengers who have decided to travel that they will be able to get into the ports scheduled on the latest  revised itinerary?

I'm still going too.  I fly into Singapore on Thursday/Friday and am staying at the Hilton Garden Hotel.  After booking a journey via Bangkok (when embarkation was Taipei) I am now quite relieved to have a direct flight from London to Singapore.

I am very curious to see how full the ship is and whether we will be rattling around like beans in a can!
