    Aloha Nancy.

I am even more excited now to know that there will be your comedy and Buddhism lectures. Sounds fascinating. Namaste.

    Hello, All!

My husband Marshall and I will be Enrichment Speakers on this cruise (and the next - Hawaii to Vancouver.)

We will be performing Improv Comedy on six of the sea days. Improv is comedy made up on the spot from audience suggestions. If you've ever seen the television show "Whose Line Is It, Anyway" it's similar to that. Very interactive and fun!

Marshall also does a lecture series on Buddhism. He usually only does this when we're in Asia, but I'm thinking that there are so many sea days that the Solstice might schedule that series as well. It's extremely interesting and enlightening.

We've been performing on Celebrity Cruises for ten years, but this is the first time we're going to Hawaii - yay!!

Looking forward to meeting you all,

    Nancy

Looking forward to being on board with you! Sounds like we’re all in for some fun entertainment as well as enlightenment.  You will love Hawaii. We go for three weeks every other year!

“ The weather here is beautiful and Auckland is a mini Sydney  we are staying at a hotel on the waterfront and the solstice will dock right beside us when it comes in on Friday”
    Lynne,
We are flying American from LA also. Hope the ride is smoother than you described, or it might be a sleepless night!  Last Solstice cruise we stayed right by where she docks. I got up around 4:40am, took a peek out our window and she was ever so slowly gliding into place. It was an awesome sight!  We know you’ll have a wonderful trip on her. Looking forward to meeting you.

Hi Nancy  I always bring slippers for the long flight, rather than sitting in my shoes for so long. And definitely bring a neck pillow or something similar to enable your rest.on the plane.  For these really long flights, sometimes a half of a Tylenol PM really helps with sleep.

Can’t wait to meet you and see your performances. And I so hope they add your husband’s session on Buddhism, it sounds so interesting. See you onboard.

I wear compression socks and exercise legs feet a few times and try to stand up a lot to keep circulation going
