Well we’ve passed the 14 days. I pray all is still well for our fellow cruisers near and far.
So very sorry to hear about the out sourcing NanaChar. Businesses these days can be ruthless. I hope that something turns up for you quickly.
My thoughts are with all our fellow passengers and crew as we navigate these next few months of a pandemic. I’m so grateful we had 12 days of pampering and fun to prepare us for what lies ahead. Stay healthy and safe everyone.

Got our results back and we're both negative. It's a relief to know. We're continuing to work from home just to be safe. Stay healthy everyone!

    Congrats.  That's great.

We don't know the facts about the person.  Maybe he thought his sore throat was from partying to loud at the Silent Disco and never considered the virus.  Maybe his symptoms were so minor, he didn't go to the doctor until he was still tired a week later.

I'm not sure what Celebrity's responsibility is.  I would think they should report it to someone or some organization.  But then again, with HIPAA laws, what can they report?

Yes, I am upset and wish I knew all the facts.  There must have been a better way to handle this.  Hopefully we have all learned a lesson and create some procedures.

I hope everyone is doing well.  I came home to a new dog, getting a great raise and bonus, to only find out two days later, they are outsourcing our whole department.  So, long vacations and cruises might be a thing in the past until I retire.

Not if he first had symptoms on March 1st...bad symptoms are occurring within 2-3 days of initial onset.  I'm not assuming; he exposed 10s of thousands of people on the ship and islands, in the cruise port, airplane and TWO international airports.  Everyone KINEW about this virus and KNEW about the steps the cruise line was taking to try to keep us safe.  If you work in any Emergency Services, you wouldn't think that way.

It's time to stop bashing the cruise line for passengers they couldn't control.

Wow... you are very presumptive; many people are contagious and exhibit no symptoms, you don't know how he felt.

Stop bashing the cruise line?  They know about this case.  Have they contacted you?  They certainly haven't contacted me.
