CoryJo - if you’re still reading this thread - you mentioned a website at our luncheon that was called “we have cruised together before” and I can’t seem to find it online or on Facebook. Do I not have the right words? Please advise, I sure do want to remember the people I met on this trip. Thanks!

If there are shuttle buses waiting at the dock then that would be the easiest way to get your entire group to the train station at the same time. If not, I would recommend taking a taxi. Please note while there is a taxi stand you may have to wait for one and as you will need 8 taxis for your your entire group, it may take some time for all of you to arrive at the train station.
To get to Yoichi, you can either take the train or bus.
JR TRAIN - There aren't a lot of trains going to Yoichi and please note IC cards (Suica, Pasmo, Kitaka, etc.) are not accepted so you will need to buy a ticket.
Schedule from OTARU to YOICHI around 9am
depart Otaru → arrive YOICHI
8:05 → 8:30
9:38 → 10:03
10:53 → 11:18
Schedule from YOICHI to OTARU (I'm not sure how long you intend to stay so I'll include the schedule until the evening)
10:25 → 10:51
12:30 → 15:55
13:45 → 14:11
15:00 → 15:25
16:03 → 16:26
16:45 → 17:11
Taking the train would be the easiest and fastest way, but if you don't make it in time for the 9:38 train, you can also take a bus from the CHUO BUS TERMINAL outside the train station.
BUSES to YOICHI depart from either gate #5 or #6 and run about every 30 minutes. There is an information window at the bus terminal so you can ask about when/where the next bus is and purchase tickets there. You will need to get off at YOICHI EKIMAE JUJIGAI (front of Yoichi Station) and it is about a 35 minute bus ride. The Nikka Whiskey Distillery is about a 5 minute walk from the station/bus stop. (There is a tourist information center in front of the Yoichi station if you have any questions.)
Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Well, it has been a fantastic cruise until my wife lost one of her favorite rings two days ago, night before last. It was a multicolored diamond ring made from tiny blue, yellow, red and green diamonds arranged in a criss cross pattern.
We think she lost it either at the final session of the Battle of the Genders at Sky Lounge, or in the restroom outside the Sky Lounge immediately after. She has a habit of taking off loose rings before she cleans herself, for fear of the ring dropping into the toilet. She probably took it off, and forgot to put it back on. This was about 8:45 pm
She realized the ring was missing when we were drinking tea at Cafe al Bacio about 9:30 pm.
We went back to the Sky Lounge and to the restroom, but of course the ring was not there. We then reported to Guest Relations and they said no rings had been turned in. The next morning we filed a formal loss report and were interviewed by Security.
Well, the first thing they did after the interview was to search our cabin and turned it inside out and upside down, and of course, no ring.
So now, early two days later, still no ring. Guest Relations would only tell us: “We are still investigating and we will let you know.”
I do not hold out much hope that the ring will be turned it. A pity, beacuse it was one of my wife’s favorite rings and they do not make it any more.
C’est la vie.

Dear Mr. Michael Stegall,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately we have no direct bus service between “APA Hotel & Resort Yokohama Bay Tower” and Narita airport. The nearest bus stop is “Yokohama Royal Park Hotel”, where it takes about 5 minutes by taxi and costs about 750 yen. It is about 13 minutes walking distance.
The timetable is shown as follow.
The reservation isn’t accepted through our website for the bus route from “Yokohama Royal Park Hotel” to Narita airport. But you can make the reservation through the hotel.
If the bus departure time doesn’t meet your convenience, I suggest you should take the bus from another bus stop. It is Yokohama City Air Terminal (YCAT).
Please refer to the following website.

If I figured out the website correctly, here is what I think has to happen:
Take a cab to your selected hotel.
On then website, to select transfer from hotel, you first pick an area which is “Yokohama City Air Terminal.” Then you pick the bus stop, which is one of the hotels shown below. They are all pretty close to the port.
The Hotel pick up bus makes the route from the Hotels, for example:
7:35AM Yokohama Royal Park Hotel,
7:37AM The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyo
7:40AM Intercontinental Yokohama Grand
8:00Am Yokohama City Air Terminal
9:37AM Narita airport terminal 1
9:40AM Narita airport terminal 2
9:45AM Narita airport terminal 3
You’re probably transfer to a different bus at the terminal. Times above are for only for one particular time period.
