    Hi Everyone!

I'm sitting through some continuing ed today 💤. I see several of you are in the Ft Myers area. I just booked a flight for Monday because my stepfather is having surgery on Monday in a hospital in Coral Gables. I have the capability of working remotely so I can wrap up some things.

Fortunately I think we are all set for the cruise so I don’t need to worry about those plans.

We received our luggage tags!  It’s getting close.

Fellow travelers:  My husband and I have booked the Stamp's Tour on Jan. 5 entitled: Valparaiso/Casablanca Valley with a drop off at our hotel in Santiago.  Has anyone else from our ship booked this tour?

We have booked this tour too

HI, Just now joining this thread. My husband, Dan, and I are just getting organized. Looking for suggestions and good company on excursions in Punta Arenas and Puerto Madryn. Thinking of doing Charles Darwin at Tierra Del Fiego, a  Celebrity trip in Ushuaia and the Art Culture of Punta del Est,  Signed up for GV Tours in Puerto Montt. Open to ideas for Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn and Punta Arenas. Will try to check the thread more often now!

Well i'm slowly making progress with our tours.

Starting with the Centro cultural Borges Tango show "Bien de Tango11" night of 20th in B.A, followed by city tour through the hotel on morning of 21st. Then doing the ship's tour to the Tigre Delta morning of 22nd Dec.

In Montevideo we are doing the ship's city hightlights tour and again with the ship' tour from Puerto Madryn to the Penguin Rookery in Punta Tombo, as it's too risky with a private tour being 2.5 hrs drive one way!

In Ushuaia we are joining Kristin on the End of the World train and doing the Tierra del Fiego National Park. Once again with Kristin's group we are going with Denis' tour in Puerto Montt.

We have booked with Stamp's tour from the port on 5thJan to Valparaiso and Casablanca Valley with the hotel drop off in Santiago. By the way they do go to Vina del Mar too- I enquired.

Still a couple of holes to fill in my itinerary, but getting there!

Looking forward to catching up with everyone on board!

    Hi Assisi,

I see you are in Naples - we are in Punta Gorda.

We avoided Santiago hotels for the reasons you stated.  Today's news carried an item that described an epidemic of eye injuries; several hundred protesters have been shot in the eye with a pellet gun allegedly by the police/troops.

We are staying at the La Quinta by Wyndham 5 minutes from the airport - should be quieter there??

Coquin:  Hello from Naples.  We are booked into the NH Collection Casacostaneros hotel located in the Vitacura region—a few miles outside(NE) of the central city.  I am watching the news and will contact the hotel if conditions worsen.  ...... the “adventures of travel”!
