Starting to wonder if they may flip the FunDay at Sea and Nassau days based on the weather forecast. I know this creates problems for those that booked excursions but based on the winds tomorrow and thunderstorm forecast on Monday, I for one wouldn’t be upset .

@RobinKY- apparently there is no way to private message on Cruise Critic so I will just reply here.
Although we have already made the reservation, we are considering cancelling the room reservation due to the weather. We have until Wednesday to do this so we are watching the Nassau weather closely. Right now it looks to be 50-80% chance of rain but we know that can change. The cost of the reservation is $265. This gives us 4 passes which means that the cost would be split 4 ways and would work out to be $66 per person. It may be slightly more because if you have 4 people "checking in", then I think they charge you additional for electronics / housekeeping fee for two additional people. But in end, the cost is still much cheaper than the $160 per person price tag for getting the passes at the resort.
If you do have interest though, I will put up a note up on the public bulletin board on the ship when we arrive (I assume Carnival has one) so that we can find each other. If we end up cancelling and then the weather turns bright and sunny, we can venture over and see if we can rent the room the day of. If not, we will just go to the beach. Maybe it will work out, maybe it wont'........but either way, I appreciate the reply and possible interest.......
RobinKY April 9, 2018 3:02 pmIs anyone else going to the water park or have any interest? Please contact me if you do as we will probably have two extra passes.
I may have an interest. Not sure how to PM on here so can you send me a PM?

Hello all! My husband and I will be on the Liberty on this cruise. He has been on Carnival years ago but this is my first time on Carnival as I am mostly a Royal cruiser. After reading reviews about the the Atlantis Aqua Adventure, we have decided to book a room at the Comfort Inn Suites which is right next door to the Atlantis. Booking a room gets you four passes to the water park. This is a lesser expensive way to enjoy the water park........cheaper than buying the wrist bands outright and definitely cheaper than booking the excursion thru Carnival. Has anyone done this? Is anyone else going to the water park or have any interest? Please contact me if you do as we will probably have two extra passes.
