no, but as said a ship is a small city, bound to have someone die. but sorry to hear it.

Anyone here about the death on this cruise? We were in E214 and had family in E202 and E198. It was in a room between us.

WE are almost done packing, early on the road tomorrow, once the storms pass. Cat sitter is ready, house is a mess, and the fridge is empty. Drive safe friends, and if we don't meet- have a great cruise! If we do meet-then I hope that we have fun together!

just a hit-because Grand Caymans may own their land, they don't own the water, we found great dive shops that would let us snorkel for free. different country, different laws, but if you see a dive flag, ask and they will let you. Cozumel, they are in it for the money.

Wow, the last time we were there it was 25-that's a big jump, I guess they want to spread the tequila to all, because we don't drink and that would be a wasted 50.
The side of the island that we dock on, is rocky and great for snorkeling, but there is no "beach" area close to port. There is further south, but it would be a cruise excursion or a hotel. The eastern side of the island has great beaches but rough surf. I would recommend googling hotels with day passes and find one that is not 50 bucks, but that area really is good for snorkeling.
Good Luck- and happy cruising!
