Hi        Claudia I got your e-mail and wondering how you sent me an e-mail.   You must be very good on the computer.

Our cabin is R411.  Thanks Claudia.   Would love to get together on the ship.   We are both widows and have done a lot of cruising.  We are leaving a day early and will be staying at the Embassy Suites  I am getting the address and will let you know.

    Nice to meet you   Trudy

Great! Will see you on the ship Trudy. Claudia

Hello!  We LOVE Norway!  We took a cruise there in 2013 and again this past June, 2019 because it was so beautiful and we wanted to share it with our daughter and her husband.  With all the fjords, mountains, waterfalls and water, the natural beauty is stunning!  Our favorite ports were Geiranger, Alesund and Olso, although this latest time we got all the way up to Honningsvag, and spent 3 days in the Arctic Circle, where the sun didn't set for all 3 days. We have not yet gotten to Iceland, but it's on our list.   We did a Baltic cruise in  2011, from Stockholm to Copenhagen, with 3 days in St. Petersburg (there is so much to see there), and we also loved Tallin.  That was an Azamara cruise.  Where do you live now?  Where does your son & family live in the Cincy area?  We'd love to meet up with you on the ship.....what are your names and cabin number (if you're ok with sharing that)?  Are you going to the Meet N Greet, or could we meet up at a bar or for lunch somewhere on the ship?

I was in Norway on business for a week or so about 4 years ago.  My wife didn't come with me due to having just returned from a vacation trip we made.  It was spectacular in Norway and I've been trying to get her to take a cruise there.  We interrupted our cruise schedule for three hunting trips to Africa but have now returned to cruising.  With our 50th Anniversary coming in 2021 we decided to treat ourselves and she finally wanted Norway so Iceland is a bonus.  When I saw that we could do B2B with the Baltic States we were sold.  The cruises leave out of Southampton, which was another bonus.  We are big fans of Broadway Musicals so we will be spending additional time in London, pre-cruise, to attend some West End shows.

Our son and family live in Cincy, but just across the street is Montgomery, to give you an idea of location.

We are Denny and Paula, Cabin C232.  We are traveling with our friend Sandy who is also going with us in 2021.  Sandy is in a cabin next door.  Sandy's husband was my best friend but when he passed away we did not want to lose our close ties so we have continued to travel together.  We plan on attending the M&G, but that doesn't mean we can't meet for lunch too.

We would love to hear about your Norway cruise.

We have the 14-day London-Norway-Iceland booked in 2021, followed by the 14-day Baltic States.  Our 50th anniversary gift to ourselves.  Would love to hear about your cruise.  Also, our son & family live in the Cincinnati area.  Perhaps we could meet for lunch/dinner the next time we go down there.

In 2013 we were going on a cruise to Norway from London and our luggage didn't make the flight across the pond.  We had flown over a day before and had to get on the ship the next day without luggage.  Gratefully our luggage got on the ship just before it left.  We were happy that we had flown over 1 day in advance, and now do that all the time.  By the way, we are coming from Cincinnati.

We are coming in from Michigan, about 5 hours north of you.  We almost missed the ship on one cruise after arriving at the airport and being advised that our flight was cancelled.  Airline staff were more than accommodating, getting us on another flight with another airline.  Nonetheless, we arrived onboard just a minute or two before the ship set sail.  The cabin steward said that she didn't think that we would make it.

From then on it's been our practice to leave a day or two early to account for potential weather issues.
