Home, at last. The cruise was enjoyable, as usual. Azamara service is excellent. We miss the casino, but the elimination is understandable. Weather was terrific...one cool day and otherwise pleasant temperatures, day and evening. Sprinkles, occasionally, but passed quickly.

Excursions: We used Spain Day Tours at most stops and their guides were all knowledgeable and their English understandable. For our tour of the Alhambra we used the tour offered by Azamara  (no tix available elsewhere) and it was fine (only 20 in our group as I think Azamara couldn't scrounge up more tickets, either).

Specialty restaurants were a bit disappointing as they didn't vary their menus and were unwilling to mix choices from each other or the main dining hall, leaving my wife and I narrow choices as we eat no meat or fowl.

One night and morning between Cadiz and Lisbon of slightly higher seas. No big deal.

Hope you enjoy your own cruise.

Surprised you found that the speciality restaurants wouldn’t serve you dishes from the other restaurant as they use the same kitchen. It would probably have been a good idea to go and talk to their Maitre Ds before your booking, as this is usually possible. Also Azamara now offer a separate vegan menu - did anyone mention that to you?

Also considering a half day tour of Lisbon on 13 Nov...pickup with luggage from the ship, tour the city for appx. 4-5 hours, drop off at hotel. Waiting for a quote but expect something in the range of 55E per person + tip. Email me if you are interested. adeno47atgmaildotcom We'll be traveling and will get back asap but will not likely respond to cruise critic posts.
