Does anyone have a photo to share of "Staterooms have solid steel verandah railings instead of clear-view Plexiglas railings" We will be on Oosterdam, but sure most ships have same set-up. Thank you. lavelle3805@gmail.com

Hello:  Not familiar with the Oosterdam.  But if it had the Cabins on the Promenade deck converted to Lanai Cabins like the Amsterdam had this year - then you can still see thru the railings - they are metal.  (Think of how the railings look on the Promenade deck under the lifeboats that you go to for "Muster".

If you booked a cabin towards the very front or back of the ship - then it will be a solid Metal railing which you cannot see thru.

Again think of the Promenade Deck under the lifeboats.  As you walk around both ends of the ship the open railings become solid metal.

    Hope this helps

Are there any Hand and Foot canasta players on board?

Have played canasta in the past but have not heard of "Hand and Foot" canasta. What's the difference?

    Hi fellow cruisers

We are Valerie and Rich from Florida’s Space Coast and looking forward to cruising with you!

We have taken several HA cruises and have enjoyed each one. According to what I have read the Amsterdam has laundry rooms on board. can anyone confirm that? Will we need to bring coins and soap? It would be handy to have for an 18 day cruise.
