I'm currently on the first week of a b2b. Staying on with you all next week. I wanted to let you know how easy check in was last Sunday. We got to the pier about 10:55am and we were at lunch by 11:15am. We were greeted at check in and just had to answer a few medical questions as well as asking us if we were in China within the past 15 days. No one looked at our passports, just set sail forms. Also, I haven't seen anyone wearing surgical masks all week.
Diamond lounge is full, so overflow in the Viking Lounge with card being checked each evening.
We skipped Costa Maya because of high winds, so we arrived in Cozumel yesterday afternoon and had an overnight here.
Safe travels and I'll see you all at the M&M.

Read a good article today about how and how not to protect yourself from illness while travelling. On planes, there is not much you can do if someone is coughing and sneezing all over the place near you. So, pray. You can clean the table and surroundings with wipes, but probably more useful is to put a piece of paper on the table (could be paper towel I guess.). Don’t touch the seat pocket. Don’t let the air blower blow on your face, shut it off. Wash hands often. Don’t touch nose, eyes or mouth.
On the ship, if you’re really concerned about the food in the buffet, let the staff serve you in the dining room at every opportunity when it is open, at dinner every night, and other times on sea days. Order continental room service at no charge for breakfast, and tip the hardworking staff a couple of bucks each time they deliver.
Your chances of coming down with a serious illness on this cruise are lower than getting into a traffic accident on the way to the port. Look on the bright side!

Suebcoop and mskitkat, yes, there should be a notice in your cabin about the time and location on the ship for the M&M. However, several times we have been registered and not received any notice. The M&M for this cruise will probably be on the first sea day, that is, the day after we sail. If you don’t get a notice in your cabin in the day we board, you should go to Guest Services and ask about the get-together.
It’s a great chance to meet each other and make connections to share taxi rides and information about ports. It usually takes place around 10 a.m. so if you don’t get your notice, be sure to ask.
