Outstanding Cruise

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Riviera

We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit Israel and the Greek Isles. We spent 3 days in Athens before the cruise and 2 after the cruise. We have been cruising since the early 80's. We chose this ship because we aren't comfortable with very large or very small ships. 1,250 passengers was just right for us. Embarkation and debarkation went very smooth. The ship is well laid out. The ...

Another "Home Run" cruise on Oceania

Doesn't matter which ship you take on Oceania; some people prefer the larger (1250 passengers), other the smaller (650 passengers), but always first class service and food. None of this comes inexpensively, so what's to complain about? There were a lot of families with kids on this cruise. Whoooops, not much for kids to do on Oceania. Someone gave them bad advice to take this line, it is ...

The 3 days in Israel

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Riviera

The itinerary was perfect for us giving us a chance to see Athens before sailing then 3 days in Israel docked in Haifa. The size of the cabin and Oceania's reputation aided in the decision. When we planned this we were looking for something going to Israel and the length of time we were going to be there was the most attractive aspect. Cruising to the Greek islands was an added ...

Wonderful 'Sacred Sanctuaries' Cruise on Oceania Riviera

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Riviera

We cruised on the Riviera from 19 April through 29 April for the Sacred Sanctuaries itinerary. We cruised on other lines in the past, but decided to try Oceania for the stop in Israel and the particular stateroom that we selected. We had a bit of a nightmare getting to Athens to get on the cruise, but that has nothing to do with Oceania. However, we made it! We found the embarkation ...

A Transatlantic Interlude

I had always wanted to try a TA cruise and this was a perfect opportunity. It turned out even better than my expectations. The greatest aspect was the leisurely pace, not having to get up early in the morning for a shore excursion, having plenty of time to linger over meals, and lots of the during the day for reading and napping. My wife and I did only the 14 day TA crossing and returned from ...

Excellent Transatlantic Cruise

This was our first cruise on Oceania since it was purchased by Norwegian Cruise Line. We wondered if the service and food might decline. Their was no need for concern as the food is still the best at sea, service was excellent and the cruise was wonderful. We will continue to cruise this line. The ports (Bermuda and Madeira) were nice to revisit and our first time in Gibraltar was excellent. ...

Love lots of sea days!

This is my sixth cruise, all on Oceania. We chose a transatlantic cruise because we wanted a relaxing two weeks without guilt...we could lie in the sun and read, or participate in shipboard activities without fear of missing something in port. We docked overnight in Bermuda and were one day in Madiera, one day in Gibraltar on our way to Barcelona. It was a perfect itinerary for us. We used ...

Port Intensive Greek Island and Turkey Cruise

Review for a Greece Cruise on Riviera

We travel with a group of eight, both family, and friends. It was our third time on Riviera, and we requested our butler, Sonu, from the prior cruises. He met us as we boarded, and asked what we would be needing that first day. Great service from the very start. The ship was pretty full, with groups from Maui Jims, and four university affiliated tour groups. The cruise was shorter than our ...
