Just completed our first river cruise on the Rhine with Uniworld River Queen. Purchased a french balcony; not sure why it is called a balcony as this is a floor to ceiling window which doesn't open out onto a balcony at all, indeed there were no balconies onboard. Extremely disappointed in the position of the room which is situated right next to the restaurant, subsequently prior to the restaurant ...

This was our second cruise on Uniworld. We were so impressed with the first cruise on the Joie de Vivre in Paris we had to see if it was some how different. We were not disappointed. The service, accommodations, meals and excursions were just as good on our second cruise as the first. Although the rooms are a bit smaller than the Joie de Vivre, it was more than adequate. After all how much ...

We went to see the tulips, which our at their peak, but every other stop was an adventure. Loved the windmills and the Dike system to see up close. I would only use Uniworld for river cruising as they are the best in all that they do. They do go out of their way to make you happy. The extra entertainment at night on board was very good. The walking tours were never rushed and very informative. ...

We actually booked our first river cruise through Costco and trusted their judgement. It far exceeded our expectations! The food was truly wonderful as was the impeccable service....friendly and extremely helpful. The ship only had 94 passengers and we became friendly with most of them by the end of the 12 night cruise. Each day we had at least one tour and we were always greeted ...

This was my second cruise with Uniworld. The ship River Queen was beautiful. Fully renovated but kept its good bones. Activities offered each day were well planned and extremely interesting to me for the historic value. Ample time given to those who wanted to shop. You were never intimidated into joining if you did not want too. Service on this ship was excellent. Every person on the crew was ...

After a week of personal travel through Germany and Austria, we arrived in Nuremberg for our river cruise. We have traveled with Uniworld six times before and expected this cruise to be the same high quality as those others. We were not disappointed. From the time we dropped off our luggage until we left at the end of our cruise, we were treated like family. We had sailed before with the ...

My husband and I, with a great deal of luck and a little bit of juggling, managed to make it to Basel on December 21st to begin our Christmas Market Rhine River Cruise, which because of the timing did not include any German Markets. It wasn't a huge loss because we did shop at the Basel, Lucerne, and Strasbourg Christmas Markets and hit the "Mother of all Markets" on the Champs-Elysees when we ...

We arrived on December 21st at about 8pm, having been delayed by weather. We were dropped at the curb by our cab, and left to pull our luggage down to the ship, up the gangway, and after finding the entry button, into the lobby. We were surprised to find no sense of security and were unchallenged. Once we made it into the lobby, however, the service was quick and efficient and we were soon in our ...
