Cruising Central Europe
Cabin was posh but appallingly small.
Low bridges ahead!
One of the highlights was the middle Rhine gorge.

Bus tour instead of a river cruise

Review for River Princess to Europe - River Cruise

We chose Uniworld after being told by the travel agent and the Uniworld rep. that the trip that they offer would meet our "bucket list" vacation as well as our anniversary. We were told that the ships, service, excursions, etc. were first rate and all of our dreams would be fulfilled. They took our deposit in March 2017 and the $15000 trip for my wife and me was paid by June 2018. When we ...

Disappointing, considering their own marketing

This was our first river cruise and we worried it would be too small and slow for us. And it was. We're very active, independent, well-traveled cruisers. We chose Uniworld based on its ratings and claims, and because we liked this itinerary plus the all-inclusive package. While we had some lovely experiences, saw some darling towns and met some special people (most from Down Under), we were ...

Friendliness and professionalism of the crew. Couldn't ask for better

This cruise was recommended by my travel consultant. Met all my expectations. What stood out was the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff, always with a smile on their faces and nothing was too much trouble. I had a bit of a medical problem while on board and they went to no end of trouble to help me get it sorted out. There was a good choice of outings in each port, all ...

Cruising stress free

Always wanted to cruise the Rhine river and now have achieved it. The management of the restaurant, tours and ship was outstanding leaving us to enjoy our holiday stress free. The tour guides utilised by Uniworld were excellent, they all knew their subject very well and presented the knowledge to us at a good level so that all understood. After each tour we were given time to explore the town by ...

This was our first river cruise and we had never heard of UniWorld prior to our travel agent recommending them. Well I have to say, this company was fantastic, great food, wonderful crew who couldn't do enough to help and assist. One of the guest fell ill during the cruise, the captain arranged a taxi, went with the couple to the hospital, translated for them and waited with them until they could ...

Great Trip

It was our first trip with Uniworld and we had the usual first trip concerns, but were blown away with the entire package, ship, crew, meals and side trips. It was first class all the way from the time we got off the airplane until we got in the cab for a stay over in Amsterdam. Within one or two days all the crew that we saw on a daily basis knew our names and what was our favorite beverage. ...

We found this to be the nicest cruise line that we have been on. The service was wonderful, great food, open bar, excursions included, gratuities included and we found the ship to be in excellent condition on all levels. Our cabin was quite roomy and the bathroom was very nice. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We chose to arrive in Budapest two days prior to the cruise ...

Another memorable cruise adventure with Uniworld Boutique River Cruises

I didn't think Uniworld could continue to exceed our expectations, but once again they did, this time on a Danube cruise from Romania to Hungary. The entire staff are beyond excellent: always cheerful and polite, acknowledging you by name within 2 days of the start of the cruise, even remembering your favorite beverage! From check-in to disembarkation, every aspect of the cruise was well ...

Central Europe is a must-see on Uniworld

This was our third Uniworld European cruise in the last four years and our favorite, due in large part to the wonderful cities we visited. We travelled with our adult daughter and son-in-law. While the River Princess can carry over 120 passengers there were only 80 on our cruise, half of which were Americans. There were times we felt like we were on a large private luxury yacht. Food and ...

Amazing staff who cannot do enough to help, they work very long hours but always have a smile for you. The boat is dated, the rooms and bathroom are really tiny, but well equipped, no bar fridge in the room, the food on board is excellent, the dining room is lovely, the bar is also nice but on the small side. The top deck has very basic relax chairs, but once again the deck service on ...
