Cabin 310

Recommend a cabin in front of ship. Very quiet, no engine noise. We were in a 200 class cabin and it was adequate with plenty of closet space. Even though only 125 sq feet, we didn't lounge in our room, only rested, slept or showered. Most of the cabins were same size and on this ship it didn't make a difference of being close to the restaurant.

The Perfect Cruise By: Brad H.
The cabin was roomy enough to be comfortable. We've been on other cruises where you couldn't move in your room. Even though it was a mid-level accommodation, it felt luxurious.

Cabin 207

The River Empress was the most comfortable river boat we have been on thus far. The beds were wonderful and the bathroom well designed. The water temperature pulsed occasionally, but not so much that we got scalded and there was plenty of hot water. The lighting is excellent.

Comfortable, efficient, sufficient storage space - especially considering that, like most all people, we did not stay in our cabin except to bathe, dress and sleep. There is just much more to do and places (ex: deck; lounge; dining; library; excursions) to enjoy.

Room is small, which is normal for a river boat. Bathroom is well laid out and the shower was larger than expected. There is plenty of closet space to hang clothes and room to store luggage under the bed. The bed is very comfortable. Room 210 is near one of the lounges, which was convenient for grabbing a snack or cup of coffee. I never heard any noise from the lounge. The laundry is also nearby - on the other side of the lounge and down a few steps to the lower deck- which is also convenient if you need to wash some clothes.

Smaller than I would do next time. Beautiful though but very tight quarters.

Stateroom # 310 good location, in the middle of the ship, slight problem from noise when cabin upstairs flushed their toilet at night. Otherwise, it was fine, quiet and good location.
