My wife and I are veteran cruisers. This was probably our 20th cruise. This was, by far, the worst cruise we've ever had. It was obvious that Ritz has only been in the cruise business for a year. For the money, I would pick Seabourn, Crystal and Silver Seas 10X over this experience. The communication was the poorest we've ever had and the ship was boring. We scoured our dashboard weekly and ...
We chose this as our first cruise based on RC stellar reputation as a luxury brand. Any Ritz property we’ve ever stayed at has impeccable service…we enjoyed our time but there are a few items Ritz could majorly improve to make this a 5 star experience.
- The ship is gorgeous with sizable cabins
- Great food
- The spa and spa staff are excellent
- Personal concierge started off great ...
As longtime Seabourn cruisers, we wanted to try something different and decided on the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection Evrima from Athens to Istanbul. First the highlights:
~the ship is MAGNIFICENT--brand new and immaculate
~our cabin was lovely--spacious and smartly designed
~food was great--above average fare with good options
~main dining room was much more of a restaurant feel rather ...
We are experienced cruiser — lately mostly on Seabourn and SeaDream Yacht Club. We liked the size and itineraries of Evrima
1) the ship is beautiful and well thought out in design. We had the lowest price cabin, but it was all we needed. Lots of nice touches.
2) Both food and service were excellent. Apparently the service is much improved over past reviews.
3) The extra-cost ...
I traveled with my husband, my 21 & 19 year old son & daughter, & my sister through the Greek Islands. I am not a fan of cruises but when I received emails a few years ago about Evrima I had to try again. The yacht was absolutely beautiful! So clean & every turn, literally from the stairwells to outdoor terraces, was spotless, beautiful, & first class.
We had 3 terrace suites in a row & an ...
l choose this cruise for the luxury opportunity on a cruise. ( i’ve been on cruises before)This average price is around $4K PER NIGHT!!! My cruise was five nights. Typically check in luxury hotels are 11am. We had to be out of the room at 8 AM! Like no!!
I will start with the pros: Rooms are beautiful, spacious and very nice. Roomy balconies too. Aesthetically the ship it very pleasing to ...
The RCYC needs to pause all cruises and take the necessary time to modify the experience they promise, but fail to deliver on. This was our first cruise so we decided to go all out and rent 1 of the 2 owner’s suites (in fact we were the only ones in the owner’s suite, as the other one was vacant during our trip). Price was extreme, but with the private jacuzzi/sun deck, along with a much ...
Service and food was delightful. Especially Minstral and Talat Nam. My husband and I adored the sushi bar and went back 4 times. I forgot the name of the server one night but his kindness was not forgettable. Suite was very spacious for a cruise ship. We got the grand and it was very spacious and modern. Not very kid friendly for families with kids because there was mostly all adults which was ...
We chose because we were expecting Ritz Carlton service levels. Didnt happen. With high anticipation our bus left the hotel to take us to the ship. Driver got lost and took us to the wrong ship. Once on board we learned very quickly that all needed info was going to be thru the ship AP. It didnt work. And it stayed that way for the whole cruise. We were supposed to have a dedicated concierge. We ...
After 31 cruises, I may have found the cruise perfect for my wife and me. We had the privilege of being on the third sailing of the Ervima from Barcelona to Lisbon. We booked the cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it did not disappoint. Nothing was missing from this trip, from the outstanding staff (barely missing a beat) to the beautiful yacht, the fantastic ports, and the ...
