Excellent Transatlantic Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Quest

Excellent cruise from Rio to Lisbon. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is upscale-casual: Few men wore sport jackets at any time. Ship was about 3/4 full, with almost all passengers being in their fifties and up. There were no children. Large mix of nationalities (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.). It got a bit rocky towards the end of the cruise and the captain chose to skip the Madeira port of ...

Superb Cruise.

Another superb cruise on the Azamara Quest, we were in a club continent suite this time as the bathroom in a veranda room is very small , our suite was very nice lots of storage and we were able to put the suitcases under the bed. The company has changed hands since our last voyage and it is noticeable in the cuts they are making considering the guests on board we’re 54% return cruisers they ...

Everything about this cruise was very very good . That’s not to say I liked everything or wouldn’t have preferred little things a bit different but on the whole a superb experience . Staff , food , service , comfort , surroundings were all extremely good . There will always be those who pick holes and those people will always find a hole to pick . But to complain about not having a pizza ...

Disappointed - missed ports; sleepless nights

Review for a Antarctica Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

Chose this cruise as we had wanted to visit the Falkland Islands, and see Antarctica. Was unsure if a true expedition cruise would be too challenging, however, in the end would much have preferred a true expedition experience (with use of Zodiacs, etc). We chose Regent as we had travelled on the Splendor in 2021, and had a positive experience throughout the Mediterranean and trans ...

Such a Disappointment

Review for a Antarctica Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

My 2nd ever cruise and first on a so-called Prestige Line ship. Voyager as a ship was tired and clearly in need of refurbishment. TV swung from side to side even on a moderate swell giving sleepless nights. Balcony door wouldn't lock. The so-called exclusive toiliteries (shampoo and soap) were of a quality found in cheap motels forcing us to buy from the Spa Shop. The staff servicing the ...

Disappointed with the shows ,the excursions which were not planned properly and was at very standard considering that this is a luxury cruise liner!

Regent was rated in top 3 luxury liner but this trip was a disaster! Shows were at low standards,no variety, repeat artists, activities were minimal, staff was under trained even though they did the best they could and the worst of all was the excursions were way below of what a luxury cruiser would provide-many ports of call were cancelled and ended up with more than half the cruise at sea!! As ...

Great experience all way around. Stateroom was on the 7th level. My room keeper was excellent. Room was prepared immediately after I left. He noticed any repairs that required fixing and had a service person take care of it at once without delay. Very friendly and helpful. All staff on board were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was very tasty with great variety over the 24 days. ...

Outstanding cruise with Oceania

Review for a South America Cruise on Marina

We chose this itinerary because of its stop in the Falkland Islands and the several days spent scenic cruising in Antarctica, and other stops at the southern tip of South America. It was life-changing. As always Oceania delivered a superior cruise vacation. Oceania has the best food of any cruise line we have traveled with, and the staterooms are very comfortable. All ship staff -- the servers, ...

A basically wonderful trip

Review for a South America Cruise on Marina

It’s been over 10 years since I traveled with Oceania. Our overall experience was positive. The ship is in need of some renovation as it is showing signs of aging in some areas. We werein a standard veranda cabin, and was satisfactory. The beds were very comfortable and the room layout satisfactory. The shower is quite small and a larger person would have difficulties. The dining experiences ...

This Cruise Should be on Your Bucket List

Review for a South America Cruise on Marina

I give this 4.5 stars but 1/2 stars aren't allowed. First and foremost, the service is excellent in all areas - room service, butler, restaurants - and the ship is clean and kept that way. Our stateroom was a Penthouse Suite and was what I expected in size and amenities. The bed was comfortable. Tub and showers were good sized for a cruise ship. Our suite had a full closet where we could store our ...
