Outstanding cruise with Oceania

Review for a South America Cruise on Marina

We chose this itinerary because of its stop in the Falkland Islands and the several days spent scenic cruising in Antarctica, and other stops at the southern tip of South America. It was life-changing. As always Oceania delivered a superior cruise vacation. Oceania has the best food of any cruise line we have traveled with, and the staterooms are very comfortable. All ship staff -- the servers, ...

I give this 4.5 stars but 1/2 stars aren't allowed. First and foremost, the service is excellent in all areas - room service, butler, restaurants - and the ship is clean and kept that way. Our stateroom was a Penthouse Suite and was what I expected in size and amenities. The bed was comfortable. Tub and showers were good sized for a cruise ship. Our suite had a full closet where we could store our ...

Great experience overall. Although we were not aware in advance that they would have experts on board - geologist, naturalist/conservationist, bird expert, photographer, and historian. Having experts on board with educational talks and a scheduled daily session to answer questions was great. Turns out we knew one of the experts, and the boat was quite accommodating to allow us to meet with him in ...

Super luxurious . Fabulous food and staff. Really was the trip of a lifetime .. Highly recommend though we went for the splurge option by having a penthouse with butler service. We would definitely use Oceania again . The only negative of the entire cruise was the dull yoga class ! Otherwise great. Avoid the extremely overpriced excursions other than the lovely schooner trips. You can either ...

There are now so many awful cruise reviews that despite not usually writing a review I am forced to do so to redress the balance Having read the reviews of Marina over time I believe that some people only go on a cruise so that they can complain about it afterwards whereas my only complaint for the trip as a whole is that it would have been much better had a number of ignorant, rude and ...

This was our 4th cruise with Oceania so we are obviously biased. Although we have sailed on a few other ocean cruise lines and river cruise lines, we keep coming back to Oceania. The food is Fantastic, the service superb and the atmosphere is very warm, casual and comfortable. It feels like a home away from home. We just completed an 18 day voyage (our longest cruise yet) and we wished we could ...

We have traveled on Oceania before and loved it....and we still do! Everything about the crew, service, ship, etc was great, but the food left a bit to be desired. Certainly not bad, but not the finest. It was our only disappointment. Our Butler was incredibly attentive to our every need and the bartenders were great. We didn’t do any of the ship excursions cause we were fortunate to ...

Interesting itinerary, all inclusive ( my cruise account was USD $ 14.50 at disembarkation) high standard food variety, expertly presented in modest portions, very good complimentary wine, with fairly price premium wine list for special occasions. Brilliant Sommeliers food and wine six course lunch which was thoroughly educational. Great coffee shop with a properly trained Barista adjoining a ...

lets start by saying this was the best holiday we ve ever done. Rio through the Amazon up to Florida. What made it so good, everything. Crew were amazing, service unbelievable, food excellent. I read some poor reviews before I embarked , cannot understand where they came from as we had a delightful experience. 25 days on board meant that we got to know all the crew including the ...

Our 3rd SB cruise and it just gets better and better! Embarkation was faultless and quick, lunch in the Colonnade awaited us and we sat and had a leisurely lunch then straight to our cabin for unpacking. From then on, it was all just a fabulous time. After an independent tour in Rio, we had 5 straight sea days before we reached Tristan da Cunha. Being able to visit the remotest inhabited ...
