The bad The food was of institutional quality. Looked nice, but tough, not cooked enough or too much, and of a commercial grade. Coffee, was the pits, so was forced to pay for a fresh cappuccino with breakfast. Food at buffet was cold, lacking in variety, small portion sizes, and set up in a non functioning manner. Poolside was overly crammed, insufficient lounges, very LOUD sounds from the speakers, and just Bingo, Bingo Bingo. Poolside towels were handed out very covetously, and begrudgingly. The main swimming pool was limited to an overcrowded 40 people. This on a ship with a guest count of 4,000. Amazingly poor planning. Internet was of medieval quality Activities, other than Bingo, nothing memorable, nothing. Embarkation, as well as debarkation was slow, hot, and tedious. The good. A beautiful clean ship with an excellent staff. I do not see how this ship/line will stay viable in the American market. Though it has a nice price point, I will not be back, unless serious modifications are made. Better to pay a bit more, and get a lot more from the plethora of competitors Read Less

We have cruised many, many times and on all types of ships, we are more interested in the itinerary than the amenities mostly but this ship is the doss house of the cruise world - one star would be generous. You would think it's being newer and paying for a balcony suite would mean a certain level of comfort but no. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke and stale sweat from the time we walked in the door. We pointed it out to the room staff. They tried, even shampooed the sofa! but the stink remained. Even after repeated requests the sheets in our cabin were not changed for over a week. How did we know? There was a rip near the pillow on the left side of the bottom sheet!!! Eventually managed to have them changed by taking a photo and showing it to only staff member on the service desk who was at all interested in customer service. Service everywhere was rude to non-existent. The food was so bad, that this is the first cruise I have been on and lost weight. The same rotten fruit was on display day after day in the buffet and the meals in the restaurant were somewhere between ordinary and inedible. The seating in the pool area was so inadequate for the number of guests that we never got to use that space. The entertainment was also basic in the extreme and a lack of variety for such a long cruise. Although we had been on two smaller MSC ships (Poesia & Lirica) before and knew they were basic nothing prepared us for how bad this was - we will never ever cruise with MSC ever agin and advise others to give them a miss also Read Less

We took this wonderful cruise, after the last game of the world cup. Been a avid cruiser, I saw the cruise line had a nice route and decided to book it. I book a yact club family suite after reading good reviews about it. I strongly recommend the Yact club!!!. From the moment we arrived on board, it was wonderful. We were received by a Butler that took us directly to our beautiful suite. From the pillow menu, to the nice stocked mini bar, to all the personal attention we recieved at all times; I must say that by far, that is been the best cruise we ever taken. we were spolied from day one. Our first contact at the consierge, Tomas, and Guiseppe the Le muse maitre D, from there on it was amazing!!!!. I had read mixed reviews from past Divina cruisers and was careful before booking the cruise. I guess must of the negative complains are due to the fact that people are just to cruising with non European companies. Europeans are more open to change as others. We have no complains whatsoever and we are already looking forward to book our next summer holidays with MSC. Keep up your excellent work, and thanks for a memorable cruise!!! Nieves Family Read Less
