It’s been over 10 years since I traveled with Oceania. Our overall experience was positive. The ship is in need of some renovation as it is showing signs of aging in some areas. The obvious reason was ship included Antarctic on this trip, as well as most of S America. Great trip though, excellent staff in restaurants. Food, which used to be excellent was average at best. Great experience all way around. Stateroom was on the 7th level. My room keeper was excellent. Room was prepared immediately after I left. He noticed any repairs that required fixing and had a service person take care of it at once without delay. Very friendly and helpful.
All staff on board were extremely friendly and helpful.

I have been on this ship before and enjoyed it. The cabins spacious, the food excellent, entertainment not the best, but OK and the staff so courteous and helpful.
On the 2nd port this time we were put into lockdown in our cabins while a patient results were awaited and unfortunately he was positive for Covid-19 15 March 2020
End of cruise holiday.

We chose this cruise so we could see the Magellan Straits from our balcony (even chose starboard side to make sure of the best view) and the ship sailed through the Straits in the dead of night!
That was disappointing, but cruising by the islands and coast of the deep south of Chile, glaciers and all, almost made up for it.

The itinerary was a main reason for taking this cruise. The staff and food are exceptional.
My only complaint is the size and layout of the cabins. We are in a concierge cabin and it's too small. The bathroom is just okay with a bathtub and separate small stall shower. The closet and drawer space are totally inadequate. I have to move the desk chair to walk between that and the coffee table ...
