Impecable service standards on a 6 star ship heading for refurbishment

Review for a South America Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

Interesting itinerary, all inclusive ( my cruise account was USD $ 14.50 at disembarkation) high standard food variety, expertly presented in modest portions, very good complimentary wine, with fairly price premium wine list for special occasions. Brilliant Sommeliers food and wine six course lunch which was thoroughly educational. Great coffee shop with a properly trained Barista adjoining a ...

Our 3rd SB cruise and it just gets better and better! Embarkation was faultless and quick, lunch in the Colonnade awaited us and we sat and had a leisurely lunch then straight to our cabin for unpacking. From then on, it was all just a fabulous time. After an independent tour in Rio, we had 5 straight sea days before we reached Tristan da Cunha. Being able to visit the remotest inhabited ...

Review for a South America Cruise on Norwegian Sun

We had a great time on this cruise. We had never been to South America so we did the back to back from Buenos Aires to Rio so we went to each port twice. My favorite port was Buzios, Brazil, but all the ports were nice, especially the ones where we could dock instead of tender. This was our 27th cruise with NCL and they did not disappoint. We had not been on the Sun for awhile, but the crew ...

Mariner Buenos Aires to Miami

Review for a South America Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

Absolutely fabulous! Great food and friendly service. Since Mariner was due for refurbishment in a few weeks, I was concerned that it would be very "tired". I found that was not the case. The refurbishment had to be postponed a year because of damage by Hurricane Matthew to the facility that was to do the work. We got a reasonable offer to upgrade to a Penthouse suit from our deluxe ...

The best way to travel, you have everything in the ship, restaurants, entertainment, swiming pool, you are in a floating hotel without having to carry your handbags and luggage when you travel from place to place. There are all kind of restaurants for you to choose, every night there is a show, by the pool performances and music. the rooms are nice and have enough space, the bed is ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We had never been to South America or south of the equator. EMBARKATION: Awful No porters to take our bags. We stood in line in the hot sun to check in our bags. Then we were given a number and told to sit in a non air conditioned warehouse until our number was called. Announcements were made in Portuguese except for the number. When our ...

Review for a South America Cruise on Crown Princess

Sailing around Cape Horn in South America in January sounded like fun: got a good rate for a balcony cabin, so off I went on CROWN PRINCESS. Medical emergency made us 1 day behind on the itinerary and weather was also an issue between high winds lowering the river level to get into Buenos Aires to berths non available for 1 day delay. Not Princess' fault - no one's fault. Still, the CROWN crew ...

Great itinerary! Great Ship! Great Crew! Great Price! Great Cabin! After cruising on just about every cruise line and after cruising more than 250 cruises the Norwegian Sun wins my vote for best ship. It is wonderful to see it back in the South America market. It would be nice one day to do an around the world cruise on her. The ship was in great condition and looked like it had been ...

We took this wonderful cruise, after the last game of the world cup. Been a avid cruiser, I saw the cruise line had a nice route and decided to book it. I book a yact club family suite after reading good reviews about it. I strongly recommend the Yact club!!!. From the moment we arrived on board, it was wonderful. We were received by a Butler that took us directly to our beautiful suite. From the ...
