We have been on Rhapsody approximately 8 times and over this time we have noticed activities etc being reduced.
We have been saying for at least the last 3 cruises if they don't stop cutting things out there will be nothing left. Well that day has arrived. It started with the removal of chocolates on the pillow many years ago.
Nothing to do unless you like the casino or bingo.
Spent time by the ...
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 12 night cruise to Fiji, Vanuatu, Isle of Pines and Noumea on the Rhapsody of the Seas.
Staff were very attentive, particularly in the main dining room.
Food was excellent. Several bars to choose from.
Entertainment was very good. Cruise Director Graham Seymour is fabulous.
Our Junior Suite was very comfortable with good storage and a Balcony. ...
Dinning room service and Room service were Fantastic and a pleasure to deal with.
I have a few gripes with the ship, itinerary and the horrible entertainment with respects to the following:
* Activities are purely dedicated to the Oldies (late 40s and 100). There is absolutely no consideration for the teens and ppl in their 30s. Making this cruise beyond boring for people like me and especially ...
This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean and we didn't go with any expectations. We did however manage to get a Grand Suite for only a little more than a balcony and thought why not considering we were travelling with another couple and the extra room would allow us to get together in private if we chose.
Well, what a pleasant surprise opting for a suite turned out to be. Alex, the ...
We went on Rhapsody same time last year, nothing had changed, staff still warm and friendly. This time we tried the Speciality restaurants, Izumi, Giovanni's and Choppes Grill, all worth the money spent, though Choppes grille was a tad slow and we missed the 9 o'clock show. The bars don't have price lists up, so buyer beware when ordering alcohol! Help desk had only 2 people on the morning of ...
As retirees this was our first time on this cruise liner. We found the ship to be out dated and looks tired and need of refurshment. Our cabin on the fourth deck extremely compact, AC noisy safe not working and u need to step into cabin to dry yourself as ensuite so small ( if u are really tall or very fat good luck!) we are not fat but my husband tall! Card to get into door had to be attended too ...
Six of us sailed on this cruise from Hawaii to Sydney and from embarkation to disembarkation the whole trip was appalling. The people at the check in didn't seem to know what they were doing and gave us all the wrong cruise passes. Once on the ship we seem to have many a communication problem with the staff who on most occassions barely spoke english. Whilst they seem friendly enough, the fact the ...
Traveling to Honolulu on the day of departure from Sydney on Ha452 Hawaiian Airlines was good and comfortable and when we arrived in Honolulu picked up our bags and made our way to the Hawaiian Taxi Service which took us to the Pier2 in Oahu we were their in plenty of time.
We came into the Terminal in Oahu we are gold class so we got on board with no trouble at all after that things started to ...
You make it what you want to make it. Isle of pines, champagne bay, Suva, port villa, American Samoa & Samoa. Family of 5 with kids ages 5,8 & 10. Younger 2 spent heaps of time in the kids club with Shaun the sheep, sparkles, coconut and princess being great fun. The older two also enjoyed the rock wall with Rebecca and Hugo, it was great that all of these people got to know the kids names which ...
Our time on the Rhapsody was far from enjoyable. Our travel agent advised us that this cruise was appropriate for us, however as a couple in their early 20's we found ourselves bored and quickly discovered a lot of the on board activities required further payment. The ship was crowded with children and it was at times hard to find a seat and place to relax in peace. The adults only pool area still ...
