We choose the cruise as we were keen to revisit one of Royal Caribbean's smaller ships and wanted to visit Key West and being just the 2 of us wanted to cruise out of peak holiday season. Embarkation was the best we've ever experienced, 10 minutes after arrival we were on board, fantastic, no queues getting to the port or at check in. Being a smaller ship it doesn't have all the bells and ...

ROS was nice ship but a bit laid back. Cruise had lots of retired folks Crew was good. The food was average. Casino ok but way too long to wait for servers. Tendering was a nightmare. Some of it was the weather and the waves. But it was frustrating. The cabin was fine. Could use a bit of refresh. I think entertainment was average not really impressed with on board activities. I ...

RHAPSODY OF THE SEAS - not my first choice.

Review for Rhapsody of the Seas to Caribbean - Western

I last sailed on this ship about 2 years ago. Embarkation and leaving the ship was easy and without long lines. Many guests now do the 'self assist' and carry their own luggage off. This is a smaller ship than I usually sail on. It is compact, well decorated and comfortable. My cabin (junior suite) was excellent, my stateroom attendant even more so. Not having a Coastal Kitchen, I ate in ...

Compact ship, great itinerary!

Review for Rhapsody of the Seas to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

We chose this cruise based on the itinerary - we had never been to Venice, Split, Athens or Katakolon before. As our last cruise was on the newest & biggest Symphony OTS we were expecting Rhapsody to be rather small and worn out. However we were very positively surprised when we got in! Although some of the designs (e.g. colour schemes on the carpets) were a bit dated, there was no wear & tear ...

Good, but not very good.

I was traveling with family members who had never cruised before. We wanted to experience Europe and this itinerary seemed like a good start. A cabin was available that had two bathrooms and would comfortably fit all 4 of us, two adults and two teenage girls. The cabin number was 8000. This cabin is unique to just a few ships for Royal Caribbean. There wasn't much information on this. It's ...

We did the 2/16 and 2/23/19 cruises on the Rhapsody. Smaller ship, but still had a great time! First week with 8 friends and the second week with 11 family members and 1 friend. (Children 4,3,2 year olds and a 9 months old) We stayed in #8558 Jr. Suite accessible for both weeks. Plenty of room, storage and could have my husband’s scooter charging out of the way with plenty of room still. Only 2 ...

We were looking for an easy getaway cruise for a birthday celebration and living close to Tampa this fit our needs. Did not know what to expect because we know that Tampa does not get ships from the cream of the crop. The ship was a little dated but very clean and the condition exceeded my expectations. I thought the main dining room was only average and the specialty restaurants were good but not ...

Dining room this cruise far surpassed the specialty restaurants in food offered and service. Menus in the specialty restaurants had been cut down and the items Imost enjoyed in the past were no longer on the menu. This is a smaller ship, does not have a promenade so shopping is limited. I prefer a more intimate cruise in order to interact with other passengers. Crew is very kind and very ...

Our first cruise ever and very glad we picked this cruise line. 7 days of fun on the sea, with pretty good food, except the Windjammer, and great views from our balcony. If you have not experienced coming in to Kotor, then put that on your bucket list. Out of our 6 ports, Mykonos was our favorite. Hard to find fault with any of them though. If I had to nick pick, I would recommend to Royal ...

I am currently catching up on my cruise reviews. My husband and I were aboard Rhapsody of the Seas Aug 2018 for our honeymoon. Since then we have taken 2 more RC cruises, so we were able to compare. I truly loved Rhapsody of the Seas. I am a pretty picky person when it comes to accommodations and food and I didn't have much if anything to complain about. Food: The food was excellent, ...
