Exceeded our expectations

We sailed recently with two other couples. We've never been on this size of RC ship and after being on the Anthem and Harmony, were worried we would be disappointed. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is a cozy, older ship with lots of character and probably the best staff we've met. Yes you will find some rust and there are areas that need to be updated but none of those things ...

The cruise was a treat for myself, my wife and Son (21). It started off great with a gentle cruise out of Venice capturing the views of let’s face it, stunning architecture. With purchased the all inclusive drinks package. Again what we expected no hidden nightmares. Ship Dated and in a poor state of repair : toilets not up to scratch along with the public areas below spec Sun beds ...

This was my husbands first cruise and my 3rd. He was a reluctant cruiser so we choose this Greece-Croatia Mediterranean cruise as it had many port stops and was only 7 nights. Turns out he loved it. We chose a balcony cabin which gave us many opportunities to view the beautiful ports as we came and left. Breakfast became a must on our balcony as we soon found we did not enjoy Windjammers ...

We chose this cruise based on the ports of call and that it was out of Tampa (closer to us). We got on the boat around noon and our luggage wasn't delivered until around 4pm (after sailing), so definitely pack swimsuits, etc. on a carry on if you want to swim, etc. right away. Our room was ready at 1:30, so that was nice to be able to get in to change, but if not, there are restrooms scattered ...

Second rate in most areas

Food was unimaginative and generally not particularly well prepared. Main dining room menus were repetitive and pushed filet mignon and lobster with expensive add-on prices. Theater screens/projectors were out of focus, old and inadequate. Schooner lounge space was completely inadequate for trivia while main lounge at the rear seemed to be underutilized. Internet was fast but greatly ...

Our agent recommended this ship as we wanted to travel to Santorini and also see Croatia. It was truly a fantastic experience. The ship was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was fantastic and the cabin was wonderful - our room steward was incredible. Entertainment was good - some funny trivia games organized by Elvis and Tanya were a lot of fun. We couldn't get over the ...

Our arrival and departure flights from Venice prevented us from exploring the city but we did see some amazing sights as the ship departed on day one. RC have such a slick operation with someone there to guide you through every part of embarkation and disembarkation. Their enthusiasm, as with all staff is commendable. The ship itself was smaller than our last cruise (Navigator) but that ...

This ship is old but has a warmth and charm to it. The centrum area facilitates you being involved in different activities throughout the day. The solarium is wonderfully relaxing. My teenage son loved the teen club. The food was good but not great. Our two sea days had bad weather so we spent most of the day in the solarium. Dubrovnik and Kotor were amazing. Rained the day we were in Kotokolon ...

We were so excited, we spent 30 wonderful hours in Venice, we made it to the port with plenty of time to spare. The line was taking a very long time, i look over at the desk agents and they look confused and worried, i realize the computers have gone down. The line starts moving and an announcement comes on saying that the computers have gone down. It took a little under an hour for us to get to ...

This cruise, my 3rd on Royal Caribbean, was absolutely excellent. The cabin was always immaculately tidied and clean and very comfortable. Meals in the dining room were delicious and so well presented and very generous. The Windjammer restaurant was always fun to eat at and had an amazing array of cuisine from different countries. There was an endless suppply of ice cream and cold drinks tea ...
