Crystal Serenity Solo Experience was excellent.

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Crystal Serenity

I just had the time of my life on this cruise. I am a 60-something widow and this is my first cruise sailing solo since my husband passed. He and I had sailed Crystal six times, on all three ships, and loved it. I chose this cruise because I was happy to see Crystal come back, Iceland is on the bucket list, and, well, it was time to get back out there traveling. I flew to Reykjavik two days ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Crystal Serenity

The “New” Crystal Serenity comes to the New World in a trans-Atlantic crossing that began in Britain and ended in Quebec. Are you a past Crystal guest who wants to know: What’s different? What’s new? What’s better, what’s worse? If you don’t feel like reading a long report, then you can settle for a one-sentence summary: WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS THE “NEW” CRYSTAL SERENITY IS AS ...

Cruised from Iceland to the southern part of Greenland, and then around the southern coast of Greenland. Crew provided outstanding service both with the stateroom and the dining room. Expedition staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I've been on this ship twice, and was very pleased on both trips. Captain is very efficient and careful. Food was excellent, and you don't experience the ...

Smaller ship, still a great time

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Norwegian Star

11 day cruise with my family from Iceland, to Norway, to Scotland and finished in London. Fourth time sailing with Norwegian, first time on one of their smaller ships. As we had anticipated, it was very much in line with our other Norwegian cruises, just with smaller venues and less bells-and-whistles. The staff was phenomenal; always professional, friendly and helpful. We lost one of our ...

An unforgetable cruise

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Scenic Eclipse

We chose to cruise on Scenic Eclipse for the adventure it promised. However, we received much more than we expected as the yacht provided pure luxury in the remote places we visited. The owners, management and staff are to be congratulated on achieving the ultimate in global luxury yacht cruising. The best service we have ever experienced , coupled with the most friendly and efficient crew, ...

Storm Chasing in the North Atlantic on a GREAT Small Ship

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Star Legend

I came upon the itinerary Land of the Midnight Sun purely by chance when looking for another family trip, but it was an itinerary we had been looking for, on a small ship, and so we signed up. The offices, which are out of Seattle, did not inspire confidence. This was an expensive cruise, and yet we got no beautiful color brochure upon signing up and paying our deposit. It was very difficult ...

Another great cruise with Windstar

This was our seventh cruisewith Windstar. We departed from Reykjavik, Iceland. Our first stop was at the Faroe Islands. We then sailed to Norway, cruising the fjords and stopping at Molde. The fjords were beautiful - worth the trip by themselves. We later stopped at Geiranger and took a three hour bus trip up the mountain which afforded us superb views of the fjord and mountainside. My wife ...

Vikings and Vistas on the Voyager

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

As Silversea fanatics, we never thought we would "jump ship." It was the itinerary on the Voyager, --Reykjavik to Copenhagen that sold us on Regent. The ports were stellar -- Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri (Iceland), Torshavn and Copenhagen (Denmark), Lerwick (United Kingdom), and Alesund, Geiranger,Flam, Bergen, and Oslo (Norway). We were absolutely delighted with Regent. The Voyager is ...
