Disappointing

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Celebrity Summit

Our cruise started off in Reykjavik, Iceland. Much of the info regarding this trip on the internet was wrong. Many writers said that to get from the airport to the center of Reykjavik was difficult. That was wrong. There are buses exclusively for transportation from the airport to the city center at approximately $30 pp. Others said that from the central bus stop to your hotel was an easy walk. ...

This was a very special cruise for us. We were looking forward to it for a long time and actually cancelled another cruise that made two stops in Greenland to do this cruise since it not only stopped in Greenland but also ported in Iceland with three stops around the island. Embarkation was totally unorganized. Just a little communication would have done wonders. Instead, when the large tented ...

Booked this trip for July 2023 because of the great itinerary. The Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Cabins were clean and the ship was nice. The excursion desk really bent over backwards to adjust when port calls were cancelled due to weather/sea ice (sucks but no one's fault). Specialty restaurants were quite good particularly Le Bistro. Cons: The complementary food was meh. Norwegian ...

I had a great trip overall. The crew, fellow passengers, and destination made the investment a win The interest free payments also helped, and I thought that was a great option provided by NCL. The ship's crew was friendly, and the solo traveler activities were enjoyable. The atmosphere for solo travelers allowed people of all ages to hang out together organically and have a great time, regardless ...

Brilliant itinerary, underwhelming delivery

Initially looking at another British Isles cruise that includes Belfast, Dublin and Liverpool, I ended up on this itinerary that embarks at Reykjavik. This definitely is a rarity as few big ships do turnarounds at Iceland. Not only could I spend more time exploring Iceland's inland and south coast from the capital, but also see three other Icelandic towns without taking a flight or a car. Another ...

We're experienced cruisers on the higher end (Crystal, Seabourn, SilverSeas) lines, this was our first trip on a mega-ship. It was the middle leg of a three ship trip including Crystal Symphony New York to Reykjavik, this ship Reykjavik to Southampton, and Cunard Queen Mary 2 Southampton back to New York. We knew it would be unfair to go directly from Crystal Symphony to this ship, and we prepped ...
