Silver Shadow is not oriented toward small children. It's rare to spot children of any age, as there are no teen or children's facilities, programs or babysitting services. If choosing Silver Shadow for a multigenerational trip, we suggest you travel with older children who can amuse themselves and enjoy adult-oriented excursions. We highly recommend booking adjoining suites. However, if you do bring children onboard, know that the crew will go to great lengths to make the experience a happy one.
Be aware that children less than 8 years old are only permitted on shore excursions if vehicles are equipped with age-appropriate safety harnesses. Passengers can bring their own approved safety or booster seat or harness, if compatible with local touring vehicles. Silversea can refuse to allow children under 8 on any tour, should the ship determine secure seating cannot be guaranteed.
