AmaSiena continues the AmaWaterways trend of building contemporary ships that are thoughtfully designed and instantly welcoming. For past passengers, AmaSiena will deliver more of the same -- and that's not a bad thing. Save for AmaMagna, AmaWaterways has largely perfected its riverboat design over the past few years and sees little reason to tinker with the "magic formula."
Meals can be enjoyed in the ship's main restaurant, which serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner, or in the Chef's Table Restaurant situated at the back of Violin Deck. Beer, wine and soft drinks are complimentary with lunch and dinner, and cuisine is a fusion of European and North American favorites. Always-available menus are also offered.
Nine different categories of accomodations are featured on AmaSiena, from cozy river-view staterooms to rooms sporting AmaWaterways' trademark "twin balconies": one French and one full step-out balcony situated within a single room.
A handful of riverview cabins on Piano Deck offer fixed-window views and 160 square feet of living space, while upgrading to one of the French Balcony staterooms set aside on Cello Deck and Violin Deck increases living space to 170 square feet.
Four Category CB cabins are all the way aft on Violin Deck and offer a French Balcony with a bit of a reduction in living space at 155 square feet.
Categories AA, AB, BA, and BB offer both French and full step-out balconies within a single cabin. These accomodations range from 210 to 235 square feet and are located on Cello and Violin Decks.
A total of four suites are located on Violin Deck. Measuring 350 square feet each, these are the largest accomodations onboard and feature twin balconies, along with separated living and sleeping areas.
One feature unique to AmaSiena is six pairs of cabins that can become adjoining upon request, allowing extended groups of friends and families to travel together. Connecting cabins aboard AmaSiena are 209/211; 210/212; 217/221; 218/219; 319/321 and 320/322.

Like other AmaWaterways ships, AmaSiena will include a small fitness center, massage and hair salon, and a heated pool on the upper deck. Active passengers can enjoy the top-deck jogging track or take one of AmaSiena's complimentary bicycles for a spin while in port. The line offers active excursions at every stop.
The Observation Lounge serves as the social hub of the ship, with generous 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows and a full-service bar. Tapas can be ordered there in the evening between mealtimes, and there's an included cocktail hour. Presentations, demonstrations and nightly briefings are held there, along with evening entertainment that can range from a solo piano player to local entertainers brought onboard from nearby towns.
Upon debut in 2020, AmaSiena will sail 7-, 10- and 11-night itineraries along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers from Amsterdam, Basel, Luxembourg and Nuremberg.
