Carnival Horizon Review
Carnival Horizon Overview
Slated for delivery in March 2018, Carnival Horizon will be a sister ship to Carnival Vista and have many of the same features.
Horizon will measure 133,500 tons and hold 3,936 passengers at double occupancy. Though little has been revealed about the ship, it is a safe bet that it will feature many of Carnival's most popular bars and eateries, including RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Guy's Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina, as well as some of the most popular new spaces that debuted on Vista, including SkyRide, the RedFrog Pub and Brewery, and IMAX movie theater.
Carnival Horizon will debut in Eruope with a series of four Mediterranean sailings from Barcelona, ranging in length from seven to 13 nights. On May 9, the ship will reposition to New York with a 14-night transatlantic cruise. It will then sail five four-night Bermuda cruises from New York, departing Thursdays and featuring a full-day visit to Bermuda. It will also operate a series of eight-night Caribbean sailings through mid-September before moving to Miami where it will run six- and eight-night Caribbean cruises year-round.
