Overrated, Overpriced - AVOID THIS CRUISE LINES.

Over priced. Ship is way overrated. Poor service, poor food, poor company. Only nice thing was the people we met. TERRIBLE customer service. The only thing Regent is efficient at is taking your money. Casino is very unfriendly. You can see the NCL touch - cheapening everything. They offer free side trips, but unless you book them months in advance - forget about them. Also, most people ...

Regent does it the best!!

Was worried when I saw some negative reviews. I don't know what their problems were, but this cruise was amazing! The new ship is truly beautiful, from Versace china to glass and crystal chandeliers. Service is beyond good. We were staying in a Penthouse suite. Suki our butler was very efficient and pleasant. He kept our bar filled with whatever we needed and always asked what he could do for us. ...

A Lovely Regent Experience!

Review for Seven Seas Mariner to Caribbean - Southern

This was our third Regent cruise, first one on the Mariner. Although the cruise was fully booked, it never felt crowded. There are lots of quiet places. Service on board is what makes this cruise line stand out, it is excellent. The food is good in the main dining room, but very good in Signatures and Prime 7. We are not crazy about Setti Mari. The cabin was roomy, lots of storage and a ...

Miami first, went downtown to Lolitas, great fun. Overnight at Double tree Airport hotel, ok but past it's best, not much to do. Ship great, embarkation easy and quick. Cabin 511, no vibration. Great food, great staff, good company. Mixed excursions. St.Maarten Admirals cup, fun, great experience, closest I am going to get. St.Lucia, island not up to expectation, ok. Beach safari - ...

Navigator once again and perhaps more

Having cruised on the SS Navigator many times, quite some years ago, my wife and I looked forward to a wonderful trip, similar to the ones we had experienced before. We did, but also found changes we consider have impacted negatively the quality of the cruise, likely resulting from the change in ownership several years ago to an investment company obviously more interested in profits than in ...

Good but not Stellar

We enjoyed our Regent trip. Ports aside, the ship size was very much to our liking. The food at dinner was good but breakfast and lunch were nondescript--not bad, just not extraordinary. The service was outstanding across the ship. Our cabin was a perfect size and nicely appointed. We thought the ship looked a little tired and needed some refreshing as the carpets were quite stained and the paint ...

Wonderful First Experience with Regent

We sailed out of Lauderdale on Feb 6 and we enjoyed every minute. I had read several negative reviews of this ship and was feeling very apprehensive as we embarked. The embarkation process was very smooth and we were in our cabin in no time with a glass of champagne in hand (I do agree with some other reviews- the champagne was not great and gave me heartburn). However, it is a classy touch! ...

A little disapointed

This is my 2nd cruise with Regent. The first on the Navigator. It is as nicely appointed and detailed as we have come to expect from Regent and it was kept clean and in good condition. I don't think that was a big chore as the ship had just come out of dry dock. Our cabin was on the 11th deck and unfortunately directly below the treadmills in the gym. Yes every day ALL day someone was running on ...

Still looking for our perfect cruise - This was not it!

My wife and I are in our late 50's, financially comfortable with me still working. By 2008 were status post 4 yearly cruises with Princess. At the time, we had gotten increasingly tired of the non-stop promotions and hand numbing signing for what seemed to be everything, and for that and many other reasons decided to cruise Galapagos on the Celebrity Xpedition in the Spring of 2008. As it ...

The Mariner is Magnifcent

Review for Seven Seas Mariner to Caribbean - Southern

The Mariner is a beautiful ship and fresh out of dry dock she boasts all brand new seating, carpeting, curtains, bed linens, etc. The thickly padded pool deck lounge chairs are quite possibly the comfiest at sea and I found myself falling asleep more than once while basking in the poolside sun. Of course, that could also have been the cause of late night activities because while the Regent ...
