Review for a South America Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We chose this cruise as a 70 birthday present to each other. 26 night cruise including the Amazon. Booked a conceige cabin, so had a pre- cruise hotel. Lovely room but stuck in a residential area, long queue to check and poor luke warm breakfast. Never had such a long wait to board, even had a wait to even join the queue. The poorest standard cabin, I have had on a cruise ship. Cracked, chipped ...

This was an opportunity to travel 1000 miles up the Amazon river and visit several Caribbean islands. The experience onboard was nothing short of exceptional. From the inclusive valet laundry service to highly approachable, professional Captain, our every need and care was catered for. This was our first sailing with Regent and we have now booked 2 further cruises with them, it is fair to ...

Navigator is the oldest and smallest of the RSS fleet. Being so small meant it could sail on the Amazon, although we were stuck on a sandbank for several hours. On deck there is a very small pool, with no easy access, two jacuzzi and steamroom on 11 floor.. Pool side loungers in the shade were insufficient and the walking running track was limited The ships facilities are tired, only one ...

November 25,2018 to the Amazon Very enjoyable, but would not say that the Amazon is interesting.Just another muddy river with very little of interest. In spite of this, the cruise and ports in the caribbean are OK. Ship nice, very clean and welcoming.. We are not entertainment or late night types so the quality of show is not applicable to us.o us. The only short coming is the PRIME 7 ...

This was my first Regent cruise. It was chosen for its itinerary and except for one stop, it was wonderful. PROS: Smaller ship means smaller number of passengers, easier to maneuver on board. Crew was exceptional. Everyone, from tender attendants to officers were pleasant and engaged with the guests. They truly made you feel welcomed and special. The 24 day trip allowed you to ...

Vibrations not nearly as bad as expected

We had booked a suite high and forward to limit the effects of the vibrations, i was surprised, not bad at all. The ship is smaller so it took me a while to get adjusted to the ceiling height and general smallness of the ship, it needs refreshing and i heard it was due in the near future. The smaller ship gives you a more intimacy feeling. The stewardess were as usual amazing , always ...

Ports of call were good - not excellent! Why stop at locations that have nothing to offer? An example woud be Hilo, Hawaii. The destination personnel were not well trained. Priority guests were not treated like priorities! In most situations - waitlist was an imaginary item. Basically I would say the ship personnel were very friendly and dedicated employees. Upper management needs to ...

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

Despite missing Bermuda and adding a day in New York and an extra sea day, this cruise was very nice. The service was excellent. The tours were well organized. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. The food is good and well presented. We had not been on the Navigator since it was refurbished and thought the decor overall was very pleasant. Tea time was poorly attended which we found ...

What about the "unlimited free shore excursions " on Regent Navigator ?

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We choose this cruise because of the itinerary , Panama Canal , Costa Rica , Guatemala , all those countries we haven't been ..and who are very interesting . The cabins are not very spacious , but correct . No need to take a Penthouse class , anyway the area is exactly the same , it's only the situation on the ship that differs , and you get the help of a butler . There are 3 restaurants ...

Great itinerary and shore excursions! Onboard activities not so great.

Regent offered the best itinerary and time of the Amazon River...hence we booked it! A careful evaluation on our return home leaves me with the following comments: The best..."all-inclusive" means just that...you pay for nothing - wifi, shore excursions, specialty restaurants, booze, friendliness of the crew, gratuities...nothing! The "very good"...cabins were comfortable and well ...
