Very comfortable, excellent service and food

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

We sailed for 18 days from San Francisco to New York via the Panama Canal. Prior to the cruise we had a one day tour of Muir Woods and Sonoma, with lunch in Sonoma City - a lovely small town. Embarkation and disembarkation were the only disappointments, and Regent is not at fault. The 3rd party handler in San Francisco failed to provide transportation to the ship for the majority of ...

As wary cruisers we wondered if we were risking too much committing to a 29 day cruise? Not a problem at all! We selected a cabin midship with no balcony and found we had plenty of options to sit quietly on deck if we chose to. Being low and in the middle, our cabin was very stable and we had a smooth journey for 29 nights. Reports of wild weather nights surprised us. The cabin was ...

We've recently returned from a fascinating cruise to Alaska. A pity the cruise didn't start in the UK because we're not at all fond of flying. We first flew to San Francisco, and were pleased that our package with Regent Seven Seas included an upgrade to Premium Economy on the long 11 hour flight. Two nights in SF gave us the opportunity to visit Alcatraz. Because it's hugely popular, we would ...

ALASKA & REGENT SEVEN SEAS - JUST A PERFECT COMBINATION

Before you read any further, I am sorry this is such a lengthy report. I hadn't intended that it would be, but by the time I’d finished..... well you decide. Whilst we are not new to cruising, just new to Regent Seven Seas, and are just one of the growing number of UK residents who are now enjoying this cruise line. It was the Itinerary that first attracted us to this particular cruise. Generally ...

I fear we are now spoiled for any other cruise line. We set off from New York at the beginning of the month and returned home to Scotland on 25th September. In San Francisco we stayed in the Four Seasons, which was great. I am going to run out of superlatives in this review. Like a previous reviewer, the fact that everything is paid up front is a huge plus. The staff are wonderful in all ...

BA to San Francisco (their standards aren't what they used to be!), and excellent overnight accommodation in the Four Seasons (one to return to). Trouble free transfer then views of Americas cup preparation, Alcatraz and sailing under the Golden Gate as we left. Ten port visits meant several days of sailing. More than enough to keep us occupied from bridge lessons, to interesting lectures and ...

Mariner Luxury

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

This was our 3rd cruise on the Mariner to Alaska, from San Francisco to Vancouver; we have previously sailed on the Voyager to Europe. The hassle of air travel is making us look closer to home for cruises and Alaska and Regent cruise lines are both great. We booked our own airfare using a mileage program and spent a couple of days in San Francisco in advance of boarding the ship. We arrived at ...
