Great Cabin but Lost Weight
"Wines were good two nights in the middle of the voyage, tolerable the rest of the nights except for one night I took two sips and gave up (room service so no timely opportunity to be served something else, but I learned and ordered two different glasses of wine if we ate in our room). We shared tables three nights and had a great time with our dinner companions - the first night at Prime we looked around and realized we were the last people in the restaurant, and hadn't noticed as everyone else left since we were having such a good time talking...."Read More

Waist of money

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Splendor

The ship was nice, but it is made for seniors. I am an active senior but I spent most of my time in the room. I paid for 3 excursions and got to do none of them. In all, I lost over $1000 on excursions. They are not worth it. Just shop in the city near the ship. When reporting the excursions, the manager insinuated that we were stupid and should have known and if we didn't, it showed that we had ...

Overall it was a good cruise . We really liked some things like our cabin. Disliked other things like the lunch buffet at La Veranda . And thought some items were so-so. Like the excursions. I will say the staff and management were excellent. You book this class of ship because you want a smaller ship experience. ie no waiting in lines or fighting for pool chairs . Since the pandemic I have ...

Regent really delivers luxury and at a high level. Naturally, there are occasional blips but this inevitable and does not take any from the overall experience. The service culture is evident. Management is visible and engaged in daily operations. I had not observed this on other cruise lines. The service staff is well trained, some are working on their english but all are clearly guest ...

Great cruise but issues either end of it

Wonderful ship, very beautiful and luxurious. Great multi national smiling and efficient crew. Food and wines and entertainment all excellent. Our itinerary was good and the excursions also well, organised and enjoyable. Our issues are with the beginning and end of the cruise. The night before we were taken to Sam Lord’s castle on the east coast of Barbados. It’s the windy side if the island, ...

This was our first Regent cruise and it lived up to all our expectations and more..... From the moment we stepped on board we knew it was going to be Special. A bottle of champagne on ice and a beautiful white orchid on the table awaited us in our cabin. The attention to detail with the ships decor was exceptional. Beautiful fresh flower arrangements were in all the Public areas and ...

Destination Services needs some work

Seven Seas Splendor is a newer ship with a lot of good facilities, food and staff, however the destination services staff had a lot of issues on our cruise. First, they had no personality and when you went to their desk they gave the attitude they could care less. They also messed up the tour ticket distribution for about 1/2 the tickets on the second part of our cruise. They also provided no ...

We echo the sentiments of many other cruisers who cruised Regent prior to the pandemic: it is simply NOT the same experience. You could summarize by saying that it’s uneven at best. Here is why: PROS: best cabin experience ever…level E cabin. Super comfy bed facing window, tons of storage, spacious bathroom, wonderful lighting and sizeable balcony. Cabin attendants attentive and professional ...

Disappointed with the shows ,the excursions which were not planned properly and was at very standard considering that this is a luxury cruise liner!

Regent was rated in top 3 luxury liner but this trip was a disaster! Shows were at low standards,no variety, repeat artists, activities were minimal, staff was under trained even though they did the best they could and the worst of all was the excursions were way below of what a luxury cruiser would provide-many ports of call were cancelled and ended up with more than half the cruise at sea!! As ...

Nice 2 weeks in the Caribbean

We like Regent and since this is a new ship with the right itinerary and the right length of sailing we booked only 3 months our when the vaccination requirement was dropped. We had a guaranteed suite and the one we were assigned was one level up, on a low deck as we asked and almost center of the ship. That worked out very well. It is a beautiful ship, although to us it felt a bit sterile ...

We loved our first Regent cruise after trying several luxury cruise lines such as Crystal, Seabourn and Silversea. The crew were superb, somehow they knew our name wherever we went, and knew that we were staying on for a second voyage. The entertainment was very good and better than expected for a smaller ship. In particular, we really enjoyed listening to Gino in the Observation Lounge. The ...
