Terrific Med Itinerary for Regent 1st-timers

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We were sold on this cruise when we saw the itinerary -- from France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Montenegro and more...ending in fabulous Venice. What's not to like? We'd been interested in taking a "luxury" cruise line and had friends who had good experience on Regent and we liked its all-inclusive feature. This turned out to be lavish convenience. Flew into Nice, France, taxied to Monte Carlo the ...

Terrific experience with Regent

From the cabins to the restaurants this ship and the overall experience lived up to our expectations, going to be difficult to cruise with anyone else. The service was terrific just attentive enough without being too much. We booked the entry level veranda cabin which size wise was similar to a balcony cabin on HAL or Celebrity but the fit and finish of the room ( especially the comfort of the ...

Attentiveness to comfort and detail

This cruiseline was recommended by friends and from the very beginning we were struck by the attention to detail on the part of our AMERICAN Airline agent, Brian Mitchell. While on the pricey side, it was good not to have to worry about extra charges for drinks, tours and tips. The ship is beautifully decorated and has original art throughout. Dining was enjoyable and permitted lingering over ...

Went with friends. Wanted to cruise on a ship with adults, not a party ship. Expensive, but worth the cost if you demand quality. Only drawback was poor wi-fi service that only allowed one user and one device at a time. However, the staff were friendly and gracious and the food was to die for. The ship itself was beautiful and very well maintained. The included tours were of varying quality. ...

Great cruise, good ports of call but room for improvement

We chose this cruise as we wanted to sample the most luxurious ship and like Regent and it went to some unusual attractive ports of call but started in Monaco and ended in Barcelona allowing for stays either end in places we love. We stayed two nights in Nice prior and one night in Barcelona post cruise. Arrangements for boarding went smoothly at 12.30 and cases were in our room with us by 3pm. ...

Amazing Ship and Fantastic Crew!! Wow! I was lucky enough to sail on the new Explorer for its Christening. I was skeptical when the Explorer was being labeled as the most luxurious ship on the water. Well, I must happily confess that it lived up to its label!! There was so many things on this ship that make it amazing------everything from the food and multiple dining options, the ...

This was my second cruise and definitely a trip of a lifetime! I cannot say enough positive things about the crew. They were fantastic and catered to every request. I was very pleased with the delicious variety of food and the prompt service on board. The staff were friendly and very organized with the excursions; and with letting folks know what activities and events were available ashore and ...

Actually I was pretty nervous taking a trip like this but after we arrived at the airport in Monte Carlo, we were met by young professional Regent employees who quickly set our minds at ease. The pre cruise stay at the 5 star hotel was flawless and the breakfast the next morning was fabulous. As we entered the restaurant that was right on the Mediterranean, we could see our ship the ...

Can't Get Any Better

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

I never thought that I would enjoy cruising. We went on a 3 day cruise years ago on Royal Caribbean to the Bahamas, and it was OK. We'd talked about going to Italy for some 15 years and, during a trip to Hawaii in 2009, I realized that I had a fear of driving around cliffs. So, I started looking at cruises around Italy in 2012 because I didn't think that I could drive the cliffs and really ...

We had planned our 25th anniv. trip for a year and picked Regent based on the ports of call, excursions, food reviews, and ship size. We embarked from Monte Carlo through Italy and onto Turkey and the Greek islands ending in Athens. I think we picked spot on for what we wanted. Though slightly younger than the majority of the people of the ship (48-49) it didn't take away at all from our ...
