Nice but Expensive

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

We choose this cruise because it was inclusive, cruise, food, drinks, tours and tips. The ship was also mid size only 700 passengers. The service was good but the tours where not very organized and not worth the money. We usually cruise Princess and have always had a pleasant experience. The only exception would be their cruises are far more packed with people. Once you get over the crowds the rest ...

Met Our Expections, with One Large Boo Boo

This was our third cruise on Navigator and we knew what to expect. Enough has been written about the condition of the ship, but she is going to drydock in March for rehab. I felt the ship was in pretty good shape considering. We booked this ship and itinerary because there really isn't much choice in the small ship market in the Caribbean. We really need the smallest ship possible for our ...

An Amazing Experience

Review for a South America Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

Despite the negative reviews posted for this cruise, we would like to post a positive opinion. We were on board Regent Seven Seas Mariner for 72 nights (from Miami to Miami), and although there were some disappointments and inconveniences involved, we can't really blame Regent for any of them. Yes, there was a gastro-intestinal virus that came aboard in Lima and persisted until the end of the ...

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary on the Regent Navigator . Our BA flight to Miami was uneventful , almost enjoyable . Once we had cleared Border Control my wife and I expected to be collected by the Regent agent , along with all the other cruise representatives . The Regent representative was nowhere to be seen . After negotiating a steep downhill slope to a lower ...

Good but not six star

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

Flew from Scotland, flight to Newark good, flight to Miami had to turn back because of hydraulic failure, bit scary but handled exceptionally well by United's lady pilot. Pre cruise overnight hotel fine, embarkation good. Suite, outside cabin, plenty of storage space, walk in wardrobe. Comfy beds, decor OK but believe ship is leaving the fleet soon. Bathroom plenty room bath and shower, though ...

A very nice cruise to the Caribbean

As expected, Regent offers more than the regular cruise lines, and you feel pampered onboard. Embarcation starts at 2pm, we got there at 2.30pm and apparently everyone was aboard already. The cabin (called suite) is very comfortable, with plenty of space, walk-in wardrobe with adequate space for two and bathroom with both shower and bath. The refrigerator was refilled every day, the cabin ...

Still our favorite ship

This little ship, 490 passenger, is still one of our favorite ships. We found her in 2008 and have sailed her 6 times. The staff are wonderful and help to make your cruise special. The cruise director, Lorraine, is one of the best. Embarkment was easy and painless. The shore excursions are free but Head Office is now skimping on the quality of the free excursions. Prime 7, the steak house ...

Regent Seven Seas Mariner 2013 Transatlantic to Barcelona

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

Ship's appearance: Other reviewers have remarked on the poor condition of Mariner's carpeting and I can verify those comments. The rugs look like someone randomly tossed full buckets of water on them and instead of evaporating the water stained the carpets with a mottled, dark hue throughout the ship. I wonder if there was a septic issue at some point. There were occasional faint odors of sewage ...

Nice But Not The Best

Let me begin by saying that we love Regent Seven Seas. This will be our eighth cruise with the company. With research and planning we were looking forward to this once in a lifetime cruise of South America. Unfortunately, several experiences can truly put a damper on an otherwise wonderful trip. Embankment: Quick and easy. The ship: We have cruised on the Mariner before but still enjoyed ...

1st Regent Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

Good and Bad can best describe this cruise A. Suite 1. Master Suite 1000 on Navigator -- high cost but poor value due to forward location 2. Beautiful suite but not enjoyable when underway due to wave motion of ship. Impossible to walk comfortably in cabin. 3. Balcony not useable at all when underway due to unobstructed high winds. Furniture on balcony ...
