The ship was nice, but it is made for seniors. I am an active senior but I spent most of my time in the room. I paid for 3 excursions and got to do none of them. In all, I lost over $1000 on excursions. They are not worth it. Just shop in the city near the ship. Seven Seas Splendor is a newer ship with a lot of good facilities, food and staff, however the destination services staff had a lot of issues on our cruise. Regent was rated in top 3 luxury liner but this trip was a disaster! Shows were at low standards,no variety,repeat artists,activities were minimal, staff was under trained even though they did the best they could and the worst of all was the excursions were way below of what a luxury cruiser would provide-many ports of call were cancelled and ended up with more than half the cruise at sea!!
