Great adventure with a perfect post-cruise double safari

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We took this cruise for two reasons, we needed to spend cruise credits that Regent would not extend beyond 12/31 and there was a post-cruise safari at the end. We were not disappointed. In fact, for my husband, it was the trip of a lifetime. Seven Seas Voyager is a luxury ship and Regent is doing well in getting things back on track post-COVID. The ship is older, so in some ways not as nice as ...

We took a our first cruise on Regent in May from Lisbon to London and we were blown away. We have taken Crystal in the past on some 15 cruises, and now we find ourselves remiss for patronizing a good cruise line (Crystal) when there was such a much finer cruise line (Regent) out there. Regent beats Crystal in room quality, service, staff, food, athletic facility, spa, public areas, embarkment, ...

Even more comfortable

Chose this cruise as a warm weather cruise prior to New England in the fall, turns out to be quite hot. The itinerary is one that suited us and we have covered most of the ports before. As a result we have chosen to stay on board and just relax and take advantage of a quiet ship and be by the pool whilst others are on their respective tours. We last sailed on RSS Voyager in October last year ...

The Navigator Crew Go Way Out Of Their Way To Accommodate The Passengers,

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We have traveled extensively on Silversea and Regent. This was our 6th cruise on the Navigator after cruising on the Voyager for 7 cruises. I have waited a couple of months before writing this review... and wanted to read some of the other current reviews. I have observed that some passengers are just plain rude. They complain all day and nothing a crew member can do is good enough. They ...

Our favorite ship

We love the size of this ship. The cabins are a very nice size, the dining in Compass Rose is very good. the wait staff there is wonderful. We do not like the specialty restaurants because the portion sizes are too large. The tours can be a bit harsh but the ports visited did not have any luxury buses to offer. Most tours were doable. This is a port issue not the ship problem. The ...

We have cruised at least 6 times on the Explorer. It is a beautiful ship with wonderful service and great food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The complimentary wine selections were very good. The five restaurants offer a great variety of dinning for diner. The main dining room, Compass Rose, is very attractive and offers a great variety of dinning options. One half of the menu ...

Lisbon to Barcelona - a Great Cruise on RSS Explorer

This is the first time we have cruised on a ship bigger than 450 passengers – previously having sailed on the chic Club Med 2 (twice) and Regent’s Navigator (3 times). So we were apprehensive about upscaling but the draw of cruising on ‘the most luxurious ship ever built’ was too tempting to avoid. Is it the most luxurious? – we have not enough cruising experience to really say but Explorer is ...

Fabulous cruise on Regent Seven Seas Explorer

Absolutely fabulous. The new ship is beautiful. Our F2 Superior suite was beautiful. The bed was comfy, the bathroom huge with tub and shower, big walk-in closet, and more storage than we could use. The staff was great and it was great to see some familiar staff from previous Regent Cruises. The new Pacific Rim restaurant was superb and we ate there several time and ordered almost the same ...

Fantastic Cruise to Africa

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

We have just completed a 25 day cruise from Lisbon to Cape Town and we enjoyed every moment. The staff were amazing catering to our every need. Smiles all around and a willingness to please. In general, there is always a great deal of criticism about the food on board ships but really, I found nothing wrong with anything served on this trip. We have cruised often and I know that regular cruisers ...

Another Transatlantic Gem!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

Our Transatlantic cruise on the Mariner in 2012 (Monte Carlo to Rio) was such a great experience that we chose to do it again. This time it was Lisbon to Miami. The Mariner and her staff once again more than measured up to our expectations! Our pre-cruise hotel was the Corinthia in Lisbon, a very nice hotel. The room was quite spacious and very well maintained during our three night stay. The ...
