Let me first state that the previous commenter did not exaggerate at all. As a matter of fact he was kind to give our cruise a two rating, but I stand by my one rating.
We are Platinum member of the RSS Society, with many wonderful cruises and experiences with this cruise line. We are only 40 days away from Titanium level. And we have booked 3 future cruises with Regent. That said, we loved ...
This cruise was the worse. Can you believe the ship actually shut down and no power at 3a. No word from the Bridge, nothing for 4 hours. And then a pathetic apology and nothing more. Breakfast was only cold food and coffee was delayed by an hour. This was totally glossed over by the ship and crew.
Cabin was well worn and certainly not worth the cost. Many stains on the bathroom floor. ...
My wife and I are cruisers of 20 years and this was our first time on Regent. We chose back-to-back cruises in the Eastern Med in a Mariner suite and we were extremely disappointed by our experience. The ship, the dining, the entertainment were all painfully average, but the trip was totally marred by housekeeping issues. A stain on a sheet on the first night was changed quickly and efficiently. ...
We chose this cruise because it had ports on Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. We had read many great reviews about Regent having sailed on Oceania the sister company now owned by NCL. This ship was supposed to be a trip of life time. Embarkation was delayed due to disorganized by Regent at the port in Singapore. When we finally were bused to the port passengers were still getting off. ...
After 2 years of lockdown, we were finally going back to cruising. Sadly we believed Regents claim of "an unrivaled experience". I suppose they were unrivaled. WIth all our cruises, we have NEVER experienced the poor service we experienced with Regent.
I could not figure why we started in Spain, but Spain was the supposed first day. Actually, the first day on the ship was still not there. ...
We had wanted to try Regent seven seas for a while and when my travel agent contacted me with this cruise I booked a concierge room on deck 9. After two years not cruising we were so looking forward to sailing with the top cruise line !
This cruise was not a good experience from the start, the transfers were appalling, 150 people all waiting by the baggage reclaim at Rome airport for over an an ...
We have never been on Regent before, and made the choice about 6 weeks before sailing on the assurance that mask wearing was discretionary throughout the ship, due to Regent’s advanced air circulation/ventilation system on board.
This proved to be wrong on receipt of an email that due to sailing in EU waters, COVID rules were in full operation on board. Bad Start! No cancellation ...
Chose this because cruise on explorer last year was great.
Sadly this was a waste of money and took until day six to sort all issues out.
Aft cabin ( 675) intolerable because of vibration. Bought this specifically for balcony size.
Moved to ( downgraded) veranda suite ( 754) Filthy balcony with caulking between teak boards stripping out and staining carpet, clothes shoes. After carpenters ...
Very poor experience with company
Customer service will never help you
If they do it takes a month to get back to you
Off ship tours not quality of what you pay for
Poor service on airport pick up
On board no one to help out issues
They just don’t care about there guests
Most of the areas need to be redone
Laundry machines broken
Slot machines broken for the whole trip ...
I need to share the absolutely terrible experience my husband and I had on our recent Regent Voyager cruise – Return to Sorrento in October 2018. My husband and I had never take a cruise before so we didn’t quite know what to expect. We frequently travel and typically stay at 5 star hotels/resorts and have basically traveled the world. Because of our age (my husband turned 80 last year) we ...
