Baltic Cruise

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

This was our second cruise on the Seven Seas Explorer. The service was improved from last year when the ship was new. Food in Compass Rose and specialty restaurants was good but lunches in La Veranda were rather poor. It seems any time they do buffet it is not up to standard. This also applied to one dinner in La Veranda. The Ship itself is quite beautiful and well laid out. Artwork is a matter ...

Regent Voyager Baltic: great but room for improvement

we chose this cruise for an anniversary celebration and because we neither of us had been to the Baltic Area. St Petersburg was a real draw. Overall the ship was a great experience and the Baltic 10 day cruise Copenhagen to Stockholm was the trip of a lifetime. We recommend spending 3 days in St. Petersburg if you can. But as with everything, there are pros and cons. In general, we, being ...

We chose this cruise for the destinations and the fact that the ship remained in St. Petersburg 3 days. We also had not been to any of the destinations before so enjoyed the ease of tours each day. We were pleased with embarkation and disembarkation with one exception. We purchased transport to ship and back to airport. When we were leaving for home, we walked out of the terminal area to realize ...

This is our second cruise on Regent 7 Seas last year we took the Navigator on a 12 Day Alaska cruise with Oregon, Victoria and San Francisco at the end. We have been cruising since 1995 on various lines about once per year. After our excellent experience on the Navigator we decided to try a European itinerary on the Baltic. There were various special offers with this cruise with a 3 class ...

A second great cruise but noticed some downgrades

This is our second Regent Cruise. We are seasoned and active cruisers in our 50's who usually book upper end cabins which is why we decided to try the "all-inclusive" that Regent offers. We have cruised with Holland America, Princess and so on but decided to try a luxury line. Our first luxury cruise was with the Navigator with a penthouse which we loved! The service was exemplary; the excursions ...

We returned from our Baltic Cruise on the Seven Seas Voyager August 19th and, although I am a bit jetlagged, I feel it is important to write my review while the cruise is still fresh in my mind. Prior to the cruise we spent two nights in Copenhagen. Reviews of the Radisson SAS Royal vary, but we enjoyed the hotel & especially the amazing location. Tivoli Gardens is across the street, Stroget ...

Having cruised only the mainline cruise lines before Holland and Princess, we looked forward with great anticipation to joining our friends, Phyllis and Phil, who had only cruised the higher end lines: Crystal, Silverseas, and Seabourn. Phyl and Phil traveled separately to Copenhagen (they used frequent flyer miles on American, and had a tortuous route from Los Angeles to Boston to Zurich to ...
