A tired and jaded ship with invisible staff and poor food services

Chose this because cruise on explorer last year was great. Sadly this was a waste of money and took until day six to sort all issues out. Aft cabin ( 675) intolerable because of vibration. Bought this specifically for balcony size. Moved to ( downgraded) veranda suite ( 754) Filthy balcony with caulking between teak boards stripping out and staining carpet, clothes shoes. After carpenters ...

Norwegian has finally ruined Regent!

We have been sailing with Regent since the beginning, over 25 years. We can't say enough how disappointed we were with this cruise. We booked a Master Suite, the best cabin on the ship. While the cabin was spacious, the shower stall was so small you couldn't even bend over. Secondly we had leaks in the room for the first 5 days of the cruise. We had wet carpet every single day for the ...

This was hands down the worse cruise out of 10 I’ve been on. They lie the second you make your first payment. If I can help out anyone from making an awful decision please choose somewhere else to cruise with. Don’t let the ALL an inclusive trick you. I would of much rather paid for better quality than what you get for free. The staff is rude the food is horrible and you have few options to eat ...

Cruise from hell

We thought Regent Seven Seas was a "premium" cruise line. It's not. From the first day there were problems. In our cabin, we tried to turn on the tv to see the safety information. The tv didn't work, so we tried to call someone to fix the tv. The phone didn't work either. One night we turned on the bathroom faucet and muddy, dirty water came out and didn't clear up until the next day ...

Regents Seven Seas -- Newly Refurbished Disaster

We chose Regents because I wanted to see Egypt and we felt it may be dangerous to fly in. The ship was newly refurbished and so was the staff. They never let on in booking. I guess cause most cruise sites warn against a newly refurbished ship and they are right. Staff had no clue and we were the training program and a costly one at that. Food and service in Compass Rose poor. Tour guides poor ...

Embarkation was miserable. The staff behaved like novices. The excursions were poorly handled..and at times chaos. We were taken to Portofino when the garbage was being picked up - smelly noisy and everything closed..Where after 10 am vehicular traffic is banned and all services are available. I would never go on a Regent Ship nor will anyone I know American Express has been alerted ...

REGENT a Huge Disappointment

We had previously gone on Regent to Greece and Turkey and has an amazing experience. This was the total opposite. The first day they brought us aboard at noon and kept us on the upper deck til 6:00 We had upgraded to a Navigator Suite which was truly wonderful once we got in, but we lost the entire day an evening by the time we unpacked and showered etc. and when we complained we were sent ...

These are some sad experiences on this year’s July cruise. The butler appeared to be under extreme pressure at times and here are just some of the issues: iPad. We asked whether we could have some music in our suite and he said that iPads were not available however two days later he delivered one to us. We asked for some videos and he told us they were available at reception. The ...

Big Hype but Bad Experience

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

As a frequent cruise enthusiast I was happy to travel for the first time with Regent, which had been touted as one of the best. The initial online experience with booking specialty restaurants and excursions was good but I was unable to book the spa for the days at sea when the facility tends to be more crowded. The advice given was to arrive early at the ship and head right for the spa for ...
