We chose this cruise as an end of winter getaway to the lovely Caribbean. Embarkation was efficient and we were on board within minutes. Disembarkation was on time and also efficient. The ship is old but clean and well maintained. We were offered an upgrade to a higher category which we gladly accepted and paid for, however, we were in a cabin directly above the show lounge which meant no ...

We wanted to go through the Panama Canal with a different line to have a variety of ports and experiences. I had heard good reviews of Oceania. We thought it would be a nice change. The first impression was of a classy lounge, dining area and reception. Our cabin was nice enough, but not one iota bigger than other cruise lines and the balcony was the smallest ever. AND, we had upgraded to ...

Oceania has done it again... best service -nicest staff and great cuisine. The culinary classes to art classes-always something going on. The four restaurants Jacques,Red Ginger, Toscanna and Polo make one feel that you are not even on a ship but at 5 star experiences elsewhere. These are also not at an additonal charge. Just love Oceania and probably could not ask for more. The excursions are ...

Our boarding experience in Istanbul was excellent, priority boarding and no delays. The penthouse cabin was clean and extremely comfortable with ample room and a well furnished balcony.Janus our butler was swiftly at our side to introduce himself and accommodated our requests with speed and a smile. During our two back to back cruises he proved to be an exceptional butler and nothing was any ...

My partner and I were so happy to find a late transatlantic cruise to Europe on the Oceania Regatta. We had heard very favorable things about the line and this was supposedly the "next" level up from Celebrity (our line of choice). This was my 23rd cruise and my Partner's 24th. When we arrived at the Port of Miami (12:30PM), embarkation was backed-up a bit and the cruise line only had five or ...

14 Night Transatlantic Cruise on Regatta Nov 2010 Perspective: We are both 50ish ;). We have cruised 25 or so times mainly on main stream cruises, and did cruise once on Crystal. We favor value for the buck and cruising off season away from school holidays. We did a 12 night transatlantic cruise on Regatta in 2008 so many of the following observations where also made in the review for that ...

Background DH and I discovered cruising nearly 20 years ago. We've sailed HAL almost exclusively & are most familiar with their S and R class ships (1200-1400 pax) as well as the unique Prinsendam (793 pax). Oceania has been on our radar for a while, thanks to many positive reviews here on CC. So we decided to do a "test" cruise. Despite our preference for longer, port-intensive cruises, we ...

Embarkation was quick and easy. First, let me say that the ship was beautiful, clean, and the perfect size. Every employee was polite, kind, and always had a greeting as you walked by. Service in all areas was outstanding. We started by me being sick the first two days (not motion sickness) and stayed in bed not to give others my severe cold, then needing two more to recover. Good ...

This cruise review should be read with the understanding that it was our FIRST Oceania cruise of the 18 cruises we had done to this point. The standard for comparison was Holland America Line, with which we have done 11 cruises to date, and whose service and ambience we have thoroughly enjoyed over the years. We chose this particular cruise partly because it gave us a chance to cruise on Oceania's ...
