The cabin was large and comfortable. We loved the window that faces the front of the ship and spent quite a bit of time relaxing in the barrel chairs in front of the window. Balcony doors were extremely hard to open so we gave up! The sofa was hard and not comfortable, also too small to stretch out on. But the bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies! Closet space was adequate and the bathroom was nice and large. Read Less

We received an upsell offer from Princess and were lucky to have this lovely rear facing Owners Suite. There was plenty of room, since we had two rooms, separated by two large sets of closets. There was storage space everywhere, and even though we overpack, we didn't use half of it. The balcony was gigantic and had views not only to the rear of the ship but also looking forward on the port side of the ship. We had no trouble with soot or excessive movement. Glenn, our cabin steward, supplied us with pool towels and blankets for the balcony (since it was the Baltic, and a little cool). Being at the rear of the ship, we had a little extra walking to do and easily made our 10,000 steps most days! The bathroom Read Less

Cabin - We had an aft corner "penthouse" suite. The suite is decently sized and feels like a small apartment in a city with living area separated from sleeping area. We liked it, but I've read other cruisers prefer a more open floor plan. The bathroom is separated into two parts, one with the toilette & a sink and the other part with another sink, shower, and tub. The tub was a nice touch, although most likely under utilized by most people. We were on a 7-night cruise and only used it once. A better design would be a shower/tub combination and free up some spaces. Balcony - Now the reason we booked this cabin is the BALCONY. Being a corner suite the balcony wraps around from the side of ship to the back of the ship. The balcony along is over 100 sq. ft. and comes with a round table, 4 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, and 1 more small table for the loungers. We loved the balcony. Only wishing we had more time to spend on it watching the sea goes by. The only downside of having an aft balcony: soot. There was a slow but steady built up of soot from the ship's exhaust. It never really bothered us, but you don't want to walk out to the balcony bare feet. Tip: Use the included slippers when walking out on balcony. Tip: Ask room steward for a couple beach towels. Use the towels to cover the loungers before sitting down to sun bathe. Read Less
