My cabin was okay, and the balcony seemed a bit tight. One negative was that there wasn’t an outlet by the bed, as there is only one outlet on the opposite side of the room on the desk. One other negative is that the outlet in the bathroom didn’t accept polarized plugs, thus forcing me to shave in the desk area. During the vast majority of my cruise, the live TVs in my cabin didn’t work. We called guest services, who insisted that the TVs worked. After escalation, they sent a tech up to our room who said, “Yeah, your TV doesn’t work, and we know it. We’re trying to fix it, it’s a programming issue.” For my trouble, Princess gave me a $25 credit. They are so generous. Read Less

I had this type of cabin on the Majestic. Wonderful for a family of 2,3 or 4. Lots of space, comfortable, and the balcony is a plus!

The cabin was a little narrower than mini-suite cabins on the older ships of the Grand Class. The balcony was definitely shallower, and it was easiest to sit with a chair turned sideways, facing along the side of the ship. Once the new beds get installed, it'll be a first-rate room. On the plus side, there were more drawers, shelves, and closet space than ever before -- a major benefit with 2 or more people sharing the room. The bathroom was spacious, and the new shower on a hose was a great improvement on the older, almost rigid shower head. Temperature control worked perfectly throughout the trip. Read Less
