Mini-Suite with Balcony (MA) Cabin Reviews

Nice cabin Aloha deck in the middle of the ship. The balcony is smaller than on other ships, however it was cold weather so that did not matter.

We chose a mini-suite which offered plenty of space and storage for the four of us and the full sized bath tub was a huge plus. The sofa becomes a twin bed and the overhead pulls down directly above it, basically creating a bunk-bed that stays flat against the wall (other ships have the sofa bed that pulls out from the wall). This was great as you still had plenty of room to walk through and access/open the balcony even when the beds were turned down. The in-room movie selection was incredible! Room service always delivered right on time. Our cabin steward, Polaris, did a fantastic job keeping our room tidy and well stocked with extra towels and ice. The balcony is a bit tight, but not a big deal to us and we enjoyed the views, sounds and ocean air. Read Less

Ok, the room. We were in a Mini-Suite, M428. I would recommend it actually. It has one of the larger balcony's, but it is not directly under the sea-walk, like the one next door. It was very roomy, has a large bathroom, and a pull-out sofa (so it is a good size as well.) There were only 3 outlets, one in the bathroom, two on the vanity area. :( We slept with the twin bed arrangement and it worked well for us. There were three night-stands, plus 3 drawers in the vanity area (the hair-dryer was in the top drawer and worked very well.) The closet had a ton of space, and exactly the amount of hangers that two girls could use! As with all cruise ships that I've been on, the water could have had a bit more pressure to it. During the trip there were a few nights we could feel the roll of the ship, but to me it is very soothing. I don't think I would recommend this room for anyone who gets seasick easily. We were right beneath the pool deck, and we could hear them dragging chairs around on occasion, never at night though. If I were to stay on this ship again I would probably get the room underneath us. The overhang from the SeaWalk was a bit distracting from the sea view off the balcony. Read Less

Our room was very nicely appointed, very clean, and the bathroom was a decent size for a ship. We never used the tub but it was nice to have the extra space in there. The showerhead was very nice, though water pressure was a little low. The bed was very comfortable, and our steward provided a top sheet (as requested) for us Americans. He also brought us wine glasses when he noticed we were drinking out of the tumblers in the room! We had one of the angled balconies; it was plenty of room for us, since all we did on this cruise was walk out there and take pictures occasionally. There was ample room for suitcase storage under the bed, as well as many drawers and shelves in the room and closet. For some reason there were about 50 hangers in the closet. We could occasionally hear our neighbor's TV but otherwise noise was minimal, except at night when the ship was moving really fast and rocking a little - then the hangers in the closet would swing and hit the wall. Simple solution was to squeeze them all together so they stopped swinging. The in-room movie selection was very good; we enjoyed watching several fairly new films. Read Less

Mini Suite on Aloha deck (12) in room A403. Full size bathtub and shower plus tons of storage space in the room. Balcony was small but we spent little time on it. We liked the room and felt the extra $400 we paid for the mini-suite compared to our original balcony room was well worth it (Princess promotion)! It’s worth mentioning that our room and many others were in full view of people walking on the Sea Walk. I am surprised that the designers did it this way! Read Less
