Cabin was of a high standard and well maintained by steward, Milan. Minor blemishes were stains on the carpet and sofa. Our cabin was sandwiched between 2 family groups with children, so we occasionally got noise from kids jumping off beds or slamming doors but not to the point of being an irritation. We were directly above the life rafts, so minor obstruction to view if looking down. Only negative was the aircon appeared to be turned off each night. We would go to sleep in comfort and wake up hot in the early hours and pull the covers back. Opposite problem several hours later when we would wake up cold and have to pull the covers up. This happened each night. Read Less

Good location on Deck 15 near the aft stairs and elevators, allowing easy walking access to Horizon Court buffet, Fitness Center, and pools. Being directly below Horizon Court, we did not experience any noise or disturbances. However, there is an overhang above the balconies in this area of the Marina deck that slightly limits the upward view. Didn't find it to be any issue for us, and didn't obstruct the outward view at all. The laundry was also very close by, but we didn't use it. There were two standard U.S. electrical outlets at the desk area. Read Less

Cabin - L229, 4 cabins from the stairwell & elevators, easy in & out. about another 20 feet from the Trident Grill. A Deluxe Balcony (had a loveseat) we set up the bed in a Queen sized bed, it was really comfortable, the balcony was a bit smaller than the Ruby/Caribbean Class (?) ship, but perfect for sitting out and having a drink, reading a book or having coffee in the morning. Not sure of the exact category, but this was a deluxe balcony cabin. The main difference between a balcony and a deluxe balcony is that the deluxe is just a few square feet bigger, (12 or so I think) and it has a couch whereas the regular balcony has chairs I think. It was nice but a little smaller than I was expecting. The balcony was very small, not deep enough in my opinion, to really be of use. For this reason, I suppose, I did not see a lot of people out on their balconies as you would usually see. This cabin is on emerald floor which is deck 8 and the lowest passenger deck. The only problem with this cabin is it is directly above the back of the theater Churchill's Bar, so there was some noise at night. One night, it was particularly bad until after 2 am. The next day I complained and asked if we could be moved. They explained that there had been a private party the night before, and that it should not happen again. They offered to move us one floor up, but after they said it shouldn't be that bad again and it was toward the end of the cruise, so we decided to take our chances and stay put. Another night, it was also pretty loud, but not as bad. You could hear music every evening, but it was not a problem most nights, but it was a problem about 3 nights, and really bad one of those 3. Clean and neat. From what I have heard, the difference between a balcony and deluxe balcony is you get a love seat, which we did have. There is a small cocktail table - for which I ordered a flower arrangement to give the room some much needed color. There were 2 throw pillows on the love seat and 2 on the bed. I requested an extra pillow and this was provided by the cabin steward. He was very fast and efficient at making up our room when we left for breakfast. There is a nice large flatscreen TV, 2 120v plugs and at least 1 UK style plug. There is a refrigerator - not a mini bar. I did notice they didn't want us to take food back to our staterooms especially things that can spoil - I generally don't do that anyway, unless it is something I will eat or drink immediately. Pillows need an upgrade, so mushy, no support. No electrical outlets by the beds.
